Skip A Bit, Brother …

holy grail

By FITSNews || As advertised, our founding editor appeared on PNT’s “Happy Hour” program the other day in an effort to boost the show’s ratings past the two dozen mark …

Hosted by veteran S.C. political operatives Wes Donehue and Phil Bailey, the show is an insider’s look at the various top political stories in the state.  This week – in addition to our own Sic Willie – it featured Winthrop University political scientist Scott Huffmon and Free Times reporter Corey Hutchins, who (believe it or not) is still milking a story he co-wrote two years ago alleging that Sic was basically the mater of the S.C. political universe or something like that.

Again, we’re not disputing his premise.

Anyway, assuming you can make it through the first eight minutes of this video (in which Huffmon exhaustively defends the methodology of a recently-conducted Winthrop University poll), there are some genuinely funny moments that follow.

Like when people start complaining about the validity of the poll’s results and Sic says, “maybe it’s not the poll’s fault, maybe we just have a bunch of incredibly crappy gubernatorial candidates.”

“Maybe that’s the problem, maybe all the candidates suck.”

Here’s the video:

Anyway, we’d like to thank Wes Donehue and Phil Bailey for having us on, and we look forward to joining a new “third dozen” of viewers.

Since we have no idea how to do sound, lets record our show in a bar!

The future of live news. Could you imagine Rahm Immanuel sitting at a table with Hannity drinking beers and discussing events? Probably not a pretty outcome but one that perhaps gives Hannity a new perspective on the status of emergency health care in America.
    Good job.

I’m surprised so much of this was about Will Folks. Was this his show?

I’m finally in agreement with OBD. I also feel that Rahm would get so upset after having his hat handed to him intellectually that he would revert to the Chicago way, and simply punch Hannity. I wonder how many fellow Dems he’s actually hit during the Barry-Care intimidation sessions?

I just watched this video from beginning to end..ad nauseum..Will, I have a son with epilepsy on strong drugs to prevent grand mal seizures…but he still has petit mal seizures, where his eyes roll back every few seconds…are you an epileptic or do you just roll your eyes better and more often than my teen-aged daughters did when they were in high school…or do you just have shifty eyes…or are you such a clown/narcissist that you need all the attention???? I am a loyal/daily reader of your blog and I am baffled by your behavior on this show…why did you particpate if you were going in with attitude??? I am not being ugly to you/just curious…if you are epileptic, I understand. Sincerely

Rhammy “the ballerina” does most of his “business” in the shower with nude gays…

I don’t think Hannity has anything to worry about.

Hannity would be screaming like the little bitch that he is. Emmanuel gets KO in the 1st.

Could you imagine Old Biker Dude sitting at a table with Barney Frank drinking beers and “discussing events”? Probably not a pretty outcome but one that perhaps gives Old Biker Dude a new perspective…

lol NachoMama, Hey a friend of mine who lost an arm and a leg in Iraq went to Washington to lobby for increased support for disabled vets and contractors. He tells me that Barney Frank was very helpful. lol as he put it “Congressman Frank may be queer and weird but he listened and sure helped us get the changes we needed so that makes him OK with me”.
PNT’s Happy Hour’s motto should be “Drinkin’ brews and talkin’ news”.

How enlightened. OBD and his pals are proud homophobes (probably closeted queens, in reality), but they won’t subject you to a bashing if you help them out. OBD is probably in heels and a dress every time he posts.
