Men = Lying

By FITSNews || Men are doing more work around the house than ever before but getting no credit for it, a new survey of … wait for it … men has found.

According to results of the “study,” which was conducted by Dove Men Care, men claim to spend an average of 13 hours a week (or 678 hours a year) on household chores, but 60 percent of them say that their efforts go unnoticed by the woman of the house.

“Our research shows that modern men are becoming more vocal about the contribution they make in the home, and the popular stereotype of men doing nothing around the house is no longer accurate,” a Dove spokesman says.

Hmmm … we put these figures into our “man-calculator,” which quickly deduced that a more accurate figure was 13 minutes a week.

We also asked our founding editor’s wife – the lovely Mrs. Sic Willie – about her man’s “contribution” to the domestic chores.

“Any amount of time he claims to spend helping around the house is an overestimation,” she said. “Unless you count the ten minutes he spends plunging the toilet – shouting ‘flush, dammit’ or ‘that’s right, b*tch’ to it.”

Reached for comment, Sic admitted occasionally conversing with the contents of his toilet.

“It’s just practice for all the politicians I deal with,” he added.
