See my comment at palmetto scope, unless its been deleted since its a
"conservative" newspaper by the way I am no "arrogant liberal".

The truth of the matter is that "conservatives" have long toted "South Carolina" as the "prosperous" and state to follow, South Carolina is low tax, "right to life" , has one of the lowest welfare benefits in the nation, and is a "right to work" state.

On top of that South Carolina gets much more money than it sends to the IRS.

So the solution, refuse to accept that you are wrong and blame obama as a pogom, its no surprise that recession largely happened under Bush before obama was elected, and politicians like phill gramm who supported deregulation and speculated banking are the same ones who touted south Carolina as the "model economy".

Sounds like whining liberals (replace with conservatives) to me who will resort to comments like libtards and socialists.

One year after spending $787 billion to stimulate the national economy, the unemployment rate in South Carolina has risen from 10% to 12.6%. A record 273,455 South Carolinians are unemployed.

We have two of the most influential Democrats representing us in the House.

When are we going to be rewarded for our loyalty to them?
