By FITSNews || There was a time – 1989, maybe – when it was sort of cool to mix religious icons and sexuality.
Sure, it pissed off a bunch of Catholic priests, but that was sort of the point, wasn’t it? To upset those prudish, altar boy fondlers with images of sexually potent babes gyrating their goodies all over God’s chosen relics?
Anyway, the peak of this “Christian-themed erotica” (for us, anyway) was Madonna’s “Like a Prayer” video, which threw some racial sensitivity into the mix with its black Jesus representations. All the video did for us was make us want to fondle Madonna, but smart people tell us there was stuff in there that stood for … you know … other stuff.
Twenty years later we have Lindsay Lohan (who was three years old in 1989) striking a Jesus Christ pose (w/ cleavage) in the pages of Purple magazine.
And just because the “genre” (we’re probably going to hell for calling it that) of Christian-themed erotica is seriously overplayed at this point, that doesn’t mean we’re not in full-on fondle mode …

Well at least Madonna didn’t look like some washed out cokewhore you’d find on Spruill Ave in the video for Like A Prayer.

She’ll do anything these days to get back in the limelight. Too bad she’s not focusing on her acting instead of these seedy vies for attention. She had real talent.
