Open hand to help….fist in face for bothering. Let the Haitian government deal with there own issues while we deal with ours. Lots of good hard working Americans out of work could use the aid just to survive until the economy either finishes tanking or recovers.

According to today’s news, the western coast of the U.S. is about to be hit by a mega quake. Article states “it’s not a matter of if but when”. I wonder how many nations will come to our aid if it does hit?

We are like ancient Rome when they were invaded and fell because their resources, especially the military, was spread far too wide and thin.

When did it become status quo for our nation to help the rest of the world and ignore its own citizens? Why do we decimate countries and then spend ungodly amounts of money, time, and resources rebuilding them?
