My understanding is that Van Jenerette has been indicted by a Grand Jury and will finally go to trial this spring. Hardly unfounded and resolved.

The stories about Jenerette's husband are unfounded. It is dirty dirty politics to dredge up old stories about things long resolved. "Whosoever is without sin, cast the first stone" comes to mind.
Katherine Jenerette is a hard working patriot who has done more for America than most people do in a lifetime. These candidates who have been to war know what is at stake and are willing to put themselves in difficult situations.
You worry about roads, candidates "daddies" and other superfilous topics. Don't you all get that we are losing our liberties every day?
Put your faith in someone who is running for the RIGHT REASONS...not a paycheck and a retirement plan.

Sorry CONCERNED.... but what cave are you sleeping in? The Polls are all showing Jenerette way ahead and Tim has clearly taken second. Tumpy is only ahead of Ryan Buckhannon by 10 or so.. (Ryan is a nice guy and my second choice and he will probably jump ahead of Campbell)

RE MATT ....OK so now we are s'pose to elect people based on skin color? Is that what Matt is saying?
I think it's all about who can do the job.

It’s interesting to also point out that today, Angela McGlowan, a nationally-known conservative analyst formerly of FOX News who happens to be a black female announced that she is running for Congress in Mississippi in the GOP primary to go up against Blue Dog Travis Childers. Wouldn't’t it be interesting if not one, but two black conservative Republicans are elected to the U.S. Congress…both from the Deep South.

Hmmm…I thought we tea-baggers were supposed to be a bunch of racists? Maybe since no one watches MSNBC we didn't’t get that message.

Is Matt saying that it's OK to vote for a black person to make a state or region seem less racist? Isn't that something you would say if you felt like you had to prove yourself? MSNBC makes baseless accusations, why do you think they do this? I'll tell you, Dialog. Dialog that keeps their liberal sheep hearts bleeding to keep a nation divided for the sake of the Socialist agenda. Play the game of chess with Zibignew Brzezinski.
http://www.takeoverworld.info/grandchessboard.html (free download) Oh and here's a great link, http://www.newswithviews.com/Cuddy/dennis60.htm In David Rockefeller's book "Memoirs" he admits that he is part of a secret cabal working to destroy the United States and create a new world order.

Here is the direct quote from his book pg. 405

For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as "internationalists" and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it. -David Rockefeller

Y'all can keep playing the game or you can refuse to allow the division of humanity by color and gender. We Constitutionalist/Consevatives have different philosophical and idealogical differences and are oppose to Global Government. It seems that both sides are controlled by the same bankers. Have you ever read Creature From Jekyl Island by G. Edward Griffin or read the testimony concerning the Federal Reserve, of Louis T McFadden on the floor of the congress in 1934? (Excerpt fromhttp://www.bigeye.com/mcfadden.htm )On May 23, 1933, Congressman, Louis T. McFadden, brought formal charges against the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Bank system, The Comptroller of the Currency and the Secretary of United States Treasury for numerous criminal acts, including but not limited to, CONSPIRACY, FRAUD, UNLAWFUL CONVERSION, AND TREASON. The petition for Articles of Impeachment was thereafter referred to the Judiciary Committee and has YET TO BE ACTED ON.

Due to his having served as Chairman of the Banking and Currency Committee for more than 10 years, Congressman McFadden was the best posted man on these matters in America and was in a position to speak with authority of the vast ramifications of this gigantic private credit monopoly. As Representative of a State which was among the first to declare its freedom from foreign money tyrants it is fitting that Pennsylvania, the cradle of liberty, be again given the credit for producing a son that was not afraid to hurl defiance in the face of the money-bund. Whereas Mr. McFadden was elected to the high office on both the Democratic and Republican tickets, there can be no accusation of partisanship lodged against him. Because these speeches are set out in full in the Congressional Record, they carry weight that no amount of condemnation on the part of private individuals could hope to carry.

I am a Republican, but I have not decided on who I will vote for in this upcoming race. I was able to hear Mr. Campbell speak a week or so ago, and I will have to say that he has many ideas for bringing economic change to our state. It is obvious that he takes a business approach to things. Well stated "horry county voter." As for Katherine Jenerette and Witte (who is this guy?), you should think about investing your money elsewhere and jump ship now...Tim Scott can tell you how that's done...he's a pro at it. I'm interested in hearing more about Thurmond, maybe he isn't the racist and adulterer his father was, don't know much about him. It's looking like it may be Campbell in June though.

If there is anyone in this race that will look out for the small business community in South Carolina, it is Carroll Campbell. He is a candidate that understands what it takes to bring a change to our economy. As for Tim Scott, it seems that he has lost sight of what public service is all about. He is quick to abandon his campaign for Lt. Governor after his advisors' warning of their drop in polls resulting from a failed campaign attempt. This is his third candidacy in two years, which leaves SC voters asking "what is Tim Scott really about?" It seems to me that he is a self-serving individual, claiming that he is all about public service. The two don't mix. They are like oil and water, and every informed SC voter will quickly realize this. Carroll Campbell is a man of character, and is in touch with the needs of every South Carolinian. He is the only candidate that has what it takes to launch this state into an economic recovery that we all desperately need and deserve. He was the first to stand up and challenge the "good old boy" system that Brown got caught up in, and with a hefty pension plan in sight, stayed in office at the expense of the hard working people of this great state. He has a workable plan for securing South Carolina's economic stability, and we can't let someone like Tim Scott use this race as a "scapegoat" for a failed run for Lt. Governor.

Tim Scott - He pushed the sales the sales tax that was supposed to improve Charleston traffic. Somebody please tell me what that has done. They take a million dollars a week out of the Charleston economy and I think they built a sidewalk and filled a couple of potholes in some neighborhoods. Yep, that kind of RINO is what has us in the sorry state that were are in. No thanks to Tim "it's okay to tax you I am a republican' Scott.
I'll take someone who is is ready to do things a new way. I'll vote for Katherine Jenerette.

I'm for someone who was not afraid to challenge the political establishment in Washington. Buckhannon, Campbell, and Jenrette all recognized the problems in Washington and did not coward down to the "Good 'ole Boy" network. Problems in government did not start the day Mr. Brown retired and these three candidates had the guts to stand up and fight against the status quo by announcing their candidacy prior to Congressman Browns announcement to retire. Buckhannon fought against the smoking ban, 2am bar closings and was the only one on his council to resist federal stimulus money. I know he is a supporter of the constitution and states rights.

I agree. I wish Tim would have chosen district 6 instead of district 1 too. I like Tim but Katherine is the best choice (and only for me) in district 1. There are a lot of RINO's in this race, but she is 100% conservative. District 6 has no conservative capable of beating Clyburn but Tim could have. :-(

I love Tim but he should be running for the 6th district seat, not one that is guaranteed to remain in the conservative column. As this informal poll suggests, Katherine Jenerette is the likely representative for the 1st district.
