Jenny was cold and stand-offish then. It clearly pained her to speak to me. Maybe she needs to pack it up and head back to Chicago. Maybe Mark needs to pack it up and head back to Argentina. South Carolina will be better off without both of them. We need native sons and daughters who care about our state in positions of leadership if South Carolina is to move forward(Mark grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, not on his step-father's plantation...I mean farm.... in Beaufort County). She looks fab too! Doormat no more. She has been rather magnanimous in preserving something of her husband's reputation casting him as a troubled soul rather than an outright debauched C street cad (probably for the sake of her kids and what she remembers of the good times.) I am sure she mourns the loss of the man she married and whether this chasm came out his mid-life crisis or some deep-seeded incompatibility I don't think he'll ever find someone as understanding and clued in to his motivations than Jenny, "soulmate" included! And to all the bashers for whatever slights you perceive, real or imagined, your venom and negativity is preventing you from moving forward with your own lives and making SC a better place. Been observing him since he was BJ Bill's butt boy and he always gives tougher interviews to Republicans... not that this was a particularly tough interview overall, since it was an ongoing media slam at a Republican anyhow.
