Justice On Hold For Super Bowl
By FITSNews || A New Orleans judge is delaying a trial due to the first-ever appearance of his hometown NFL football team in the Super Bowl.
Civil District Court Judge Michael G. Bagneris issued the following ruling last week …
Considering the historic victory of the New Orleans Saints, the Court finds that the trial will not be able to proceed as originally scheduled. The Court takes judicial notice that Saintsmania permeates the City of New Orleans. Many prospective jurors for the Parish of Orleans, several attorneys involved in this litigation and Court personnel plan on traveling to the promise(d) land – the Superbowl in Miami, Florida. the Court recognizes that this pilgrimage enhances the chances of the Who Dat Nation to acquire the long sought after Holy Grail – the Vince Lombardi trophy.
If this sounds familiar, it should. Last month, an Alabama attorney requested a continuance of a trial due to the Crimson Tide playing in college football’s national championship game.
That request was ultimately granted, even though the judge went to Auburn.

When the Colts win, they will be some pissed off jurors. I wonder if that will grounds for appeal.
