By FITSNews || U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham – who has inexplicably managed to out-flank President Barack Obama on the far left side of the climate change debate – got a kiss on the lips from “The Politician Formerly Known As ‘The One’” on Thurdsay.

Just what a Republican senator doesn’t need these days: Kind words from President Obama.
The president knew he would be causing trouble but he just couldn’t resist praising Sen. Lindsey Graham’s tripartisan initiative on climate change legislation with Sens. John Kerry, D-Mass., and Joe Lieberman, I-Conn.
“It probably doesn’t help him for me to compliment him,” the president joked, to appreciative laughter, as he went ahead and complimented Graham, a South Carolina Republican, before a meeting of Democratic senators today.
“Tripartisan?”
There are forty (soon-to-be forty-one) “Republicans” in the U.S. Senate and only one of them – Graham – is pushing for the massive energy tax hike disguised as “cap and trade.” That hardly strikes us as “tripartisan.”
The real question, though, is why Graham is still running around talking about “pricing carbon” in the wake of the scientific unraveling of global warming (and the political unraveling of Obama).
Obama’s waving the white flag, why isn’t Lindsey?

Why is little Lindsey continuing to pursue cap and trade? Because like too many politicians he is an arrogant $hit who will never admit being wrong, plus he has five more years on his term and figures this won’t even be an issue when he has to run again.
And realizing he screwed up on that issue and most South Carolinians won’t support it, he is going all out on an issue most will support – military trials for terrorists.

But you have to say he is loyal to his boss…even though he is fighting a loosing battle he keeps spouting cap and trade because he was paid to do it.Too bad he is not loyal to his real boss..the people
