C Streeter Mark Sanford Is Praying

c street

By FITSNews || S.C. Gov. Mark Sanford is in Washington D.C. Thursday attending the national prayer breakfast, an event that’s put on annually by “The Family/ The Fellowship.”  In case you’ve forgotten, this is the Beltway-based group of sanctimonious Bible-thumping evangelical politicians who enjoy presumptuously moralizing against your sins almost as much as they enjoy trying to bang everything that moves.

So … and we’re just wondering … but is the governor (a charter member of this brood of vipers) going to stop by his old C Street stomping grounds while he’s there?

You know, for a little “devotional time?”

Or maybe he’ll pay a visit to the D.C. love nest he is said to have kept (you know, while he told everybody – his wife included – that he was sleeping on a futon in his office).

After all, the governor’s single now, right? He can engage in all the guilt-free “line-crossing” he wants.

Seriously, the only thing worse than being proselytized in general is being proselytized by politicians … especially complete and total f*cking hypocrites like Mark Sanford.

In fact, God himself weighed in on Sanford and the C Street crew in an exclusive letter obtained by FITS last July.

In case you missed it, you can read that heavenly masterpiece for by clicking here …

UPDATE: Thanks to one of our loyal readers for pointing out that the “frugal” Sanford is flying the state plane to and from D.C. for this nonsense.

Please point out that Gov. Frugal flew Palmetto One to D.C. to attend said breakfast. As always, putting the taxpayer first.

Since God has told Sanford that he is to rule over the masses, I have no problem with Sanford flying first class, or in the state jet, or on the wings of angels.

The important point you guys are missing is that Sanford has been chosen by God. I wish the next time God chooses a leader of the masses, he would do it in public, rather than just telling the chosen one.

This state is so fucked right now with all the crooked Lawmakers in charge and and insane governor when will the nightmare ever be over. I hope people vote this year and vote for people that acutally care about our state and not their bank accounts. With the likes of Haley, McMaster and Bauer on the GOP ticket I am afraid I am going to have to vote Demo. It is just like the race for president the GOP did not put up a viable candidate and they lost the election same thing here in south carolina.

Mark Sanford and all of C Street will probably have a frontrow seat in hell. Hope they do.

Dr Manhattan, based on all the positive comments at various state papers to Andre’s pronouncements, I fear that once again the voters of SC will elect the candidate who knows about all the right (in more ways than one) buzzwords, but nothing else.
