By FITSNews || A Washington, D.C.-based advocacy group has released its list of the top ten most corrupt politicians in the country, a revealing assemblage of ethically-challenged boondogglers that provides a glimpse at the tip of the corruption iceberg in our nation’s capital.
In the rankings, compiled by Judicial Watch, outgoing U.S. Sen. Chris Dodd (D – Connecticut) led the field as the most corrupt politician in the country. He was followed by disgraced Sen. Jon Ensign - the lone Republican to make the list.
Rounding out the top ten were Rep. Barney Frank, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, Attorney General Eric Holder, Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. and Sen. Roland Burris (both implicated in the Rod Blagojevich scandal), President Barack Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Rep. John Murtha and Rep. Charlie Rangel.
What’s interesting about the list isn’t so much the names but the detailed justification for why each “honoree” was selected.
Frankly, based on some of the shady dealing at work during the recent Senate debate over Obama’s socialized medicine plans, we’re surprised that Senators Harry Reid, Ben Nelson and Mary Landrieu didn’t make this list.
Oh well, narrowing corruption in Washington to ten names is like reducing the Pacific Ocean to ten water droplets.

That seems strange to me. I’m not sure where the evidence that Eric Holder or Barack Obama are corrupt is. And Barney Frank for that matter. The others had legitimate issues, but these three seem to be ethically clean.

Gee, Judicial Watch truly is a non-partisan watchdog. Go check out their primary funder Richard Mellon Scaife. Ain’t no way that boy hobnobs with any liberals!

> Go check out their primary funder Richard Mellon Scaife. Ain’t no way that boy hobnobs with any liberals!
Scaife is one of the original CIA Mockingbirds – he’s a state propagndist and an ultra-conservative (fascist). Republicans constantly trend further to the right due to pressure from the many white supremacist organizations Scaife funds (NumbersUSA, many other wingnut orgs). He doesn’t hobnob with liberals? WorldNetDaily, 10-8-08: “Scaife Endorses ‘Marines-are-Killers’ Murtha” This article reports, “Scaife has joined the anti-war movement, directing his newspaper in 2007 to call for an immediate withdrawal from Iraq … ” Even a Nazi like Scaife turned on the worst president in American history – promoted by the ignorocracy who hate liberals – white supremacists, neo-Nazis, brain-damaged and programmed Fox News wingnuts.
