Seriously, unless you’re manipulating them to your own nefarious ends, what’s the point?
Of course WIS TV 10 (NBC – Columbia, S.C.) recently gave us a reason to watch its morning newscast … well, a reason to watch a YouTube clip of its morning newscast, anyway.
The funny ha-ha begins when WIS weatherman Ben Tanner is referred to by one of his colleagues as a “regular guy.” Obviously, that expression has two meanings (seen any Activia commercials lately?), and the funny meaning launched Tanner on an epic giggle fest.

No surprise. When WIS was owned by SC-based Liberty Corporation they worked hard to be part of the community. When Raycom bought the station a few years ago they turned it into just another corporate robot covering house fires and crime scenes.
Every time Ben Tanner speaks I can’t help but think he is high on reefer. All he needs is a bag of potato chips and it’d be perfect.
