Sources: Next Sanford Lover To Reveal Herself?
By FITSNews || A woman romantically linked to both S.C. Gov. Mark Sanford and another “high-ranking state official” could be on the verge of identifying herself, sources close to the woman tell FITS.
Sanford admitted to “crossing lines” with women other than his wife and lover last year during his now-infamous “soul mate” interview with the Associated Press, but he insisted that his mistress Maria Belen Chapur was the only woman with whom he had crossed “the ultimate line.”
Again, other than his wife we presume.
In his typical evasive fashion, though, Sanford never precisely said what he considered “the ultimate line” to be (clown mask?) …
There was considerable speculation at the time as to the identity of the governor’s “other” paramours, although none ever came forward or were positively identified.
“The governor definitely crossed ‘the ultimate line’ with this woman,” our sources say about the latest rumored lover, although they declined to provide her name or the name of the state official alleged to have been romantically linked to her.
All we’ve been told is that the allegations were likely to become public knowledge as part of a pending divorce, and that the woman was contemplating revealing her affairs with Sanford and the other man to “get ahead of the story.”
Meanwhile, the Sanford divorce is moving along smoothly (and quietly) due to what one insider called the “doctrine of mutually assured destruction.”
Asked whether or not that means there was an allegation that First Lady Jenny Sanford had also been unfaithful, our source said merely to “follow the money.”

Sanford’s Line-Crossing Pastime: A New Name Emerges
In the wake of Gov. Mark Sanford’s June 24, 2009 post-unannounced trip to Argentina “press confessional” held in the S.C. State House, Columbia politicos close to the governor have spread names of various persons with whom Sanford is said to have “crossed lines.”
At least one leading South Carolina newspaper did launch a quiet investigation focused on determining whether several of those rumors were in fact more than just hearsay. That investigation was inconclusive, and some have suggested the project was actually undertaken to help the Sanford administration identify who it needed to try to keep mum. Still, suggestions about who the governor was referring to when he advised Associated Press reporters Maria was not the only “other woman” in his life have continued to emerge since last June.
Among the list of more recent names being floated by so-called Columbia insiders is that of a former Sanford Administration staffer.
Will Folks, the self-proclaimed “rock-and-roller” and blogger, who some recall was arrested after he kicked in his girlfriend’s front door during a drunken rage soon after Folks lost his job as a spokesperson for the governor, is widely believed to have succumbed to the governor’s proclivities for line-crossing.
During the period in which Folks worked as the governor’s official coattailer, Folks is believed to have given the governor more than just advice when the governor was tasked with making any hard decisions.
UPDATE
Sources close to Folks say his pet names while making late-night visits to the Governor’s Mansion were “Precious Kitty,” “Sugar,” and “Deep Throat.” The latter of these terms of endearment is said to have been used as a reference to something other than Folks’ passions for investigative journalism.

The Chicago Sun Times had an article today that the Sanford’s wedding vows purposely/with prior consultation between the two of them omitted the vow of fidelity. They really are two peas in a pod, the Sanfords. I just wonder where she will finally go to live. I just hope she does not try to adopt Illinois as her home state. She is goofy

Mark Sanford has always appeared to me as being a goofy intellectual. It does not surprise me that he would have this clause removed. (sort of like a rider on an insurance policy) He always knew that sometime or somewhere that the perfect “soulmate” might appear in his life–like a gift from God. Jenny would be the ideal business partner and the bearer of his offspring. Jenny bore him four sons and groomed them impeccably. However, she could not dance the Tango with a rose between her teeth and talk dirty to him at the same time.

Nothing surprise me about these two any longer. Sure there will be other women that will come foward. I’ve always felt that there was more to the Sanford’s. All this much to say about Mr. Sanford sexual activities-Come on now what self respecting woman would want this liar and not even handsome man.Let’s face it,it propally don’t take much beside the whispering of I love, your handsome, and I’ve never felt this way about anyone like I feel about you to get him in the sack. As for this soulmate thing I don’t believe in it. There are many folks out there that feel that they are with their soulmate but will tell you quickly any marriage or relationship takes a lot of hard work soulmate or no soulmate. There are moments when they love the person and moments when they don’t. Moments when they want to be with the person and moments when they need space and time for themselves.
As for Mrs. Sanford, my respect was completely lost when she stated that this poor excuse of man had asked her several times to see his other woman and she still remained with him. No Self Respecting Man or woman would have put up with that for a second. My respect was further lost in her because she knew he was not the family man he professed to be yet she aided him in deceiving the folks of SC that voted for him. What a MESS!But SC will prevail!
