Pelosi’s Taxpayer-Funded Liquor Tab
By FITSNews || Let’s be clear about one thing … if we lived in a world without consequences, we would have Maker’s Mark whiskey and Grey Goose vodka pumped intravenously into our right and left arms, respectively, 24/7/365.
That stuff is the nectar of the Gods, people.
Of course, even in our boozed up (and nonexistent) “consequence-free” world, we would at least have the dignity to pay for our top shelf liquor ourselves – rather than forcing the tab onto the taxpayers.
Apparently, that’s more than can be said for U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

It reads like a dream order for a wild frat party: Maker’s Mark whiskey, Courvoisier cognac, Johnny Walker Red scotch, Grey Goose vodka, E&J brandy, Bailey’s Irish Crème, Bacardi Light rum, Jim Beam whiskey, Beefeater gin, Dewars scotch, Bombay Sapphire gin, Jack Daniels whiskey … and Corona beer.
But that single receipt makes up just part of the more than $101,000 taxpayers paid for “in-flight services” – including food and liquor, for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s trips on Air Force jets over the last two years. That’s almost $1,000 per week.
So in other words, in addition to spending millions of dollars to fly Gulfstream jets all over the country (and whining like a little bitch when they’re not available), Pelosi is also sending us the bill for her in-flight food and drink?
Unbelievable … of course it’s sadly not surprising coming from a bunch of people who voted themselves automatic pay raises and gigantic expense accounts during the worst economy in eight decades.
Seriously, f*ck these people.

Finally we agree. Fuck these people. The congress should cut their own salaries by 20 percent so they feel at least a little of the pain the average American endures and Pelosi should be run out of Washington on a rail.

I’d like to see the bill for all those trips Bush took to Crawford so he could cut all that brush he loved to talk about cutting. Especially the 8/2001 trip where he was handed the brief that said that Bin Laden wanted to attack the US with planes into buildings. No wonder he looked so shocked when he was reading My Pet Goat on 9/11 when planes began hitting buildings. He probably thought that he would be held semi-responsible for ignoring the threat. Lucky for him that didn’t happen thanks to the goddamn idiots we call the voters of this nation, and especially this state.

Taxpayers are not just paying for Pelosi’s expensive booze and food, they’re paying for the military to play taxi with her kids and grand kids, too.
“Pelosi One” seats 200 and can fly nonstop from Washington to San Francisco.
Doug Ross reported on the latest t*rd to float to the surface in the Pelosi swamp.
Apparently, the Speaker has been using the US military to taxi her kids and grand kids across the country without any US Representatives even on board. The cost of each flight is up to $18,000 per hour.
Using Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, Judicial Watch uncovered thousands of pages of travel documents related to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s use of military aircraft.
What hasn’t been revealed so far is that military aircraft are being used to shuttle Pelosi’s kids and grandkids between DC and San Francisco without any Congressional representatives even onboard! Put simply, the United States Air Force is serving as a multi-billion dollar chauffeur- and baby-sitting service for Nancy Pelosi’s kids and grandkids — presumably because commercial travel is beneath the families of the autocrats.

Oh, dear. Poor south mauldin made the mistake of dissing the god of the South Carolinians. If they cut their salaries 20%, they’d make it up with more bribes from somewhere or run up a higher expense account. The waste is wrong on either side, but sm has made the mistake of saying that a republican did something. The posters are weeping and gnashing their teeth against him because to them it’s okay to report a democratic wrong. It is treason to bring up anything a republican does wrong, because they never do wrong. Fits ain’t biased, but the posters are. I’m surprised they don’t flame fits for reporting something.

It’s 2010! The election was in 2008! Why are you still be blaming President Bush for everything, whether or not he has anything to do with the matter at hand? What does Speaker Pelosi’s corruption have to do with the past presidential administration? Another part of this story is that many times there were NO members of congress on those aircraft, rather Pelosi’s grandchildren and cronies!! Is this Imperial Rome or the USA?!
