Elizabeth Edwards Tried To Kill Herself
By FITSNews || Elizabeth Edwards – wife of former Democratic Senator and presidential candidate John Edwards – tried to kill herself when she learned that her husband had fathered a love child with his mistress, Rielle Hunter.
Sources tell the National Enquirer that Elizabeth Edwards locked herself in a bathroom and grabbed a handful of painkillers upon learning the news, screaming “I’m going to kill myself!” and “It’s all your fault!” at her husband.
In his book “The Politician,” former Edwards’ aide Andrew Young – the man who took responsibility for his boss’s wayward penis – reportedly details at least one of the suicide attempts.
The impending release of Young’s book (which hits stores on Feb. 2) prompted Edwards to admit last week that he was the father of Hunter’s child.
And yes … once again, we’d like to send yet another long-overdue “We Told You So” to everyone who was so pissed off at us when we called Edwards an insensitive prick back in March of 2008.
UPDATE: The Edwardses are also separated now … go figure!

Laugh all you want…The National Enquirer has broke and been spot on many, many stories. Their format is hokey and appeals to a certain segment along with sensational headlines and tags. I would quote them over the State any day. (closet reader)

Why is this of interest to anyone? Isn’t this a private thing between the couple and the family of Elizabeth? It just seems to go over the line. Neither of them have a political future. Lots of people succumb to the pressures of life and everyone has different experiences in life. Some have true love while others stray and some live in peaceful and prosperous times or violent and poor times. People may react differently to many things and that’s the way it is. We should all be thankful that the most famous South Carolinian other than Andrew Jackson known as Strom didn’t have any skeletons in his closet. If it’s any consolation, Edwards was neutered in 2004 even before Kerry threw the election by being a Democrat and being for something before he was against it. He’ll never be in power again unless he gets a judgeship somewhere and that’s less lucrative than being a trial lawyer for him.

My favorite is when he tried to claim Elizabeth was still in remission from breast cancer when he was cheating. Did that make it that much better? That alone demonstrates what a low down dirty bastard this man really is. He and Obama are one of a kind!

John Edwards is a disgrace to us textile workers. I hope he never, ever gain talks about working in a textile plant. Cheating on your wife while she has cancer, well, that is about as low as it gets. What a pissant.

Despite the conservative glee at the downfall of the liberal John Edwards, I am perplexed at the placing of an article about an attempted suicide in the “Good Stuff” section. Seems rather cold.
