Nonetheless, President Barack Obama is holding a conference call with the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team on Tuesday to thank them for their role in “Hoops for Haiti,” an effort that raised $1 million for the ravaged nation’s earthquake victims – or slightly more than what Amy Fisher’s stripping for Haiti is expected to bring in.

The top-ranked Wildcats will take the call in Columbia, S.C., where they are in town to play the University of South Carolina Gamecocks.
