By FITSNews || One of South Carolina’s most fiscally liberal “Republican” lawmakers is under fire for her efforts to block reform at one of the state’s most worthless government bureaucracies – the S.C. Employment Security Commission.
Rep. Annette Young (RINO – Summerville) is being targeted by the S.C. Club for Growth with a new website and (would-be) TV ad that seek to portray her as a Barack Obama-style big government boondoggler.
Which (let’s face it) she is … in addition to being a insufferable drunk.
Remember, this is the same “Republican” leader who supported the S.C. House blowing billions of taxpayer dollars during good economic times because, to borrow her logic, “if we don’t spend it, the Senate will.”

Anyway, here’s the clip …
Alright, let’s be honest … this isn’t a particularly well-executed political hit. The script is hackneyed, the narrator sounds like a friggin’ fembot and the graphics look like something a bunch of stoners in the high school A/V club came up with.
Having said that, if your blood alcohol content is as high as Annette’s, it probably comes off like Citizen Kane.

Ron, people aren’t that stupid. Dorchester County voters have thrown out how many Sheriffs, Senators and Representatives since she took office? They aren’t afraid to throw a real bum out on his/her ass, and they know the difference. How many tax hikes did your buddy Larry vote for? We’ll soon know the answer.

RANDY SCOTT BUSTED FOR DRUNK DRIVING, FEMALE COMPANION IN CAR AT TIME OF ARREST
FITSNews – April 20, 2008 – State Sen. Randy Scott (R- Summerville) has been arrested and charged with driving under the influence, sources in Dorchester County, S.C., tell FITSNews.
The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office was not immediately available for comment, but Scott was reportedly in the car with an unidentified female companion who is not his wife at the time of his arrest.
Our source also says that Scott pitched a royal hissy-fit inside the pokey, demanding that a magistrate be called immediately to let him out of jail.
A member of political consultant Rod Shealy’s “Reform Caucus,” Scott is midway through his third year in the S.C. Senate.
You know, what’s truly amazing about this story isn’t that a Dorchester County lawmaker got busted for a DUI, it’s that it wasn’t State Rep. Annette Young …
