By FITSNews || After years of lies and denials, former Democratic Vice Presidential nominee and two-time presidential candidate John Edwards finally admitted Thursday morning that he is the father of a two-year-old “love child” with former campaign video grapher Rielle Hunter.
Edwards initially denied even having an affair with Hunter, and refused to fess up even after DNA results reportedly revealed that he was the father.
In fact, Edwards only admitted to having the affair – which he carried on while his wife battled cancer – after his presidential aspirations were kaput.
“I am Quinn’s father,” Edwards said in a statement. “It was wrong for me ever to deny she was my daughter and hopefully one day, when she understands, she will forgive me.”
Yeah … good luck with all that.
Not surprisingly, Edwards admission didn’t come unprompted. Andrew Young – the campaign aide who initially “admitted” to being the baby’s father – was about to publish a tell-all book.
Once again, we’d like to send another long-overdue “We Told You So” to every one who was so pissed off at us when we called Edwards an insensitive prick back in March of 2008, particularly that asshole radio host we interviewed with up in Charlotte, N.C.
“You’re just saying that to get hits,” the guy told us.
Mmmmm-hmmm.

I’m shocked–shocked!–that Edwards lied and that’s he’s actually the father. Ok, not really. An unborn baby girl spoke through some slimy campaign workers and told me Edwards was the baby daddy.

Edwards is in the same category as Sanfraud. That is, who cares. Their political careers are over. At least Edwards can go back to bottom feeding as a trial lawyer.

The news reported they are separated . . . to separate sides of the Edwards Mansion. That puts about 1/2 mile between he and Elizabeth. What a major loser!
