Payne To Annouce Education Bid

By FITSNews || Dutch Fork (S.C.) High School teacher Kelly Payne will formally kick off (kickoff?) her candidacy for S.C. Superintendent of Education on Thursday, a release from her campaign said.

Va va voom, people.

It’s high time a candidate we could really get excited about jumped into a statewide race.

Founder of the famous “It Kids,” Payne joins a GOP field that already includes Furman University Professor Brent Nelsen and Newberry College president Mitchell Zais. Uber-liberal Columbia attorney Frank Hollemon is running on the Democratic side.

Payne will make it official at a press conference at 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the EdVenture Children’s museum in downtown Columbia, S.C.

We aim to be there if at all possible to bring you a report …

Is she not going to teach this year? If she tries to do both, she shouldn’t even run.

If she wants my vote she just has to promise to cut the Admin. part of the education budget by at least 25% or resign.

Foolish child. Sucked in by your Policy Scam Council and sic(k) willie’s other voucher scam friends. Really, Kelly?

Do you want to teach or be a pawn for these political pimps?

    Teach? Pawn?

    Teach? Pawn?

    Pawns get captured early.

They (very) rarely make a strategic difference.

Be a teacher or a pawn.

Right now, you look like a pawn.

And most pawns are captured early.

As a general rule, verbs are two words (face off), and nouns are one (faceoff).

Another excellent reason for the Superintendent’s position to be appointed.

Kelly has been looking a little too tan lately. Has she been on vacay with the LuvGov (makes me wonder if she has tan lines and if the LuvGov has admired them).

Let’s be honest. I don’t think Kelly “My Face and Skin is the Color of an oompa loompa” is really ready for the heat she is about to catch. Sure, it’s great that you started all these programs for kids.

However, it’s hard to believe that if she is that creditable of a teacher and committed to the cause of safe driving that she continues to use the services of Lobbyist Larry Marchant, fresh off his Christmas 2009 Driving Under the Influence (DUI).

Kelly could use a wardrobe makeover. This woman is supposed to be a teacher, not dress like a call girl.

Growing up with kelly as a mentor and role model, i have seen the absolute capabilities she is able to bring to the table. With a true prospective of the acheivements, needs, and improvements of tomorrows youth, kelly is no doubt the ideal candidate for this honorary position. With many supporters to agree, kelly has all of the required and requested attributes of Superintendent of Education.

I was very impressed with Mrs. Payne when hearing her speak. She is willing to upset the apple cart in order to make good things happen based on the principles of right and wrong and the law.

I’m ready for change and she’s the only agent for positive change out there.

Who would be better as superintendent than a teacher in a public school? A college president and a professor are the other choices and most of the problems we have in South Carolina are not in colleges.
Kelly Payne wants to make a difference in the lives of children and i believe she will do it. Let’s elect REAL people to these positions.
Do you know that Kelly teaches students a dying subject: CIVICS?
Couldn’t we all improve our lives by returning to Constitutional government. Kelly can reign in the overzealous bureaucrats and get to the core of education.
I say, abolish the Dept. of Education at the federal level. Let SC do our own educating without unconstitutional interference.
