Sanford’s “Walk Humbly” Tour Begins At BIPEC

state house complex

Having completed his 2009 “Forgiveness” tour, S.C. Gov. Mark Sanford is kicking off his 2010 “Walk Humbly” tour on January 12 with a visit to the annual meeting of the S.C. Business and Industry Political Education Committee (SC BIPEC).

Like misery, apparently “selling out” loves company, too.

SC BIPEC, loyal FITS readers will recall, is the so-called “pro-business” organization that completely sold out its fiscal conservative credibility a year ago by cherry picking votes (and assigning artificially inflated percentages of importance to those votes) in an effort to make the state’s RINO legislative leaders appear more fiscally-conservative than they actually are.

Needless to say, we exposed the scam, and ripped the organization a well-deserved “new one” in the process.

Sanford?

Sheesh … where to start on that guy’s list of sellouts …

Anyway, the only way this event (which takes place at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Columbia S.C. Marriott) could be any sadder or more loseriffic is if Pete Rose were to show up signing autographs …

BIPEC is a joke. It used to be an honest broker of info. Now, it is just a shill for the status quo.

Lo, how the mighty hath fallen.
