Obama “Mele Kalikimaka” Update

While millions of Americans spent the day after Christmas busting their balls (or buns) to make ends meet, U.S. President Barack Obama spent the day chillaxing with his “Hawaii friends” at the Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course on the Island of Oahu – all part of a two holiday vacation to Obama’s “native” Hawaii.

Prior to his golf match Saturday, Obama got in a workout at a nearby Marine Corps Air Station. Afterward, he made a unscheduled stop at Pyramid Rock Beach to “watch the waves.”

Sunday morning, Obama was chillaxing again – shooting hoops with his national security advisor, all in preparation for a day of “island exploration.”

Yeah … must be nice.

Of course as jealous as we are of Obama’s time off, we honestly can’t be too upset about it. After all, whatever time he spends ‘Mele Kalikimaka-ing” in Hawaii is time that he’s not able to spend shoving the New Socialism down our throats.

Come to think of it, why can’t we send Obama, the U.S. Congress and Washington’s entire non-military bureaucracy on a permanent vacation?

In related news, much to Mrs. Sic Willie’s chagrin, our founding editor has had Bing Crosby’s “Mele Kalikimaka” stuck in his head ever since Obama touched down on Oahu … Grrrr …
