No one else issues a caution in the story. It's also telling that he includes a veiled threat to legislators in the lead sentence: "What little racial and gender diversity exists on the University of South Carolina's Board of Trustees will be on the line next year as the only African-American member of the board is challenged by an attorney with strong connections to state legislators who will make the final decision." It’s telling that the so-called reporter is the one bringing up the issue of diversity. No one else issues a caution in the story.
