For those of you unfamiliar with Rep. Alan Grayson, he’s a left-leaning freshman Congressman from Florida who is a few cards short of a full deck. Like, 51 cards short.
Anyway, on the eve of Christmas, Grayson has taken political complaining to a new level by requesting that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder incarcerate a Florida woman who is running a spoof website critical of him.
In fact, Grayson wants the woman – a local GOP operative named Angie Langley – thrown in jail for five years, according to a letter he sent to Holder.
The website, www.MyCongressmanIsNuts.com, parodies Grayson’s re-election site, www.CongressmanWithGuts.com.
Langley doesn’t currently live in Grayson’s district, but she grew up there.

Maybe Mr. Grayson is a bit thin skinned. maybe not. But he is not stupid and he is not nuts. A majority of his constituents voted for him. Ms. Langley is not one of them.
Ms.Langley should not lie. She can criticize, lambast, be rude, whatever. She can do all within the law to unseat Mr. Grayson. But she is really stupid to lie about something so fundamental. If not for anything else, she deserves prosecution for sheer stupidity.
This amazing need to resort to childish name calling and emotional personal attack is an alarming attribute of the “conservatives” these days. (All but the civilized few like Ron Paul.) This kind of personally directed attack is too close to what was exploited so skillfully by the National Socialists in 1930s Germany.
Wake up Ms. Langley, and stick to the issues.

As a lawyer I have to say that this woman has better tread lightly. It appears she may have a problem with how she has set up her fund raising. It looks like Grayson is playing hardball and knows what he is talking about. She better be able to account for every penny or she may become the next Fox news celebrity sacrificial lamb for the cause as she is sent up the river.
Got to admire the bare knuckle politics. Grayson is one to definitely be wary of.

As much of a bitch move this is for Gryason to go cry to Uncle Holder he seems to have backed up his argument pretty well. I hate to agree with him but if she is investigated and all the facts he presented are true then her goose is cooked.

He is one of the worst Congressmen in the country! I believe he will be voted out of office next fall and I sure hope so! i have close relatives who live in the Orlando area and they think he is AWFUL!

Grayson is smart and is to be commended for pushing for an audit of the Federal Reserve. He understands the big picture . I wouldn’t be surprised if the lady going after him is being financed by the wall street banks .

hahaha. Grayson is toast. One of the local news outlets posted the legal response from Ms. Langley’s attorney. Grayson has not a legal leg to stand on. His ego got way ahead of his legal training on this one. What a dult!
