I see nothing to criticize as individuals. It is simply a typical view of the upper middle class (on the SC scale at least). Told what to wear and how to look by advertising and current class and age fashion, much in parallel with being told what to think by Fox, Murdoch, and the Heritage Foundation. I am not at all opposed to criticizing individuals, even in the Christmas season, I’d just have to see some individualism to do so.

The father, though, may possibly be a half-step off the herd-worn path, what with his 1910s or 20s haircut. But being married to Karen makes it unlikely that he resembles old Mencken in any additional way.

Good hair? Are you kidding, Todd? The guy on the right has a child molester part. Slicked, greasy, black hair is not fashionable, either. Brylcreem went out 40 years ago. The boys…bless their hearts. Do they get a discount when they bring their own bowls to the barber? A bowl cut is not fashionable. Their hair looks ridiculous.

Amazing! Click on “dead animals” This gets my vote for most unusual Xmas card. So, now we find out that the Sanford’s boys slaughter and sell alligator skins and this family appears to have violated Federal Migratory bag limits and have killed enough ducks to feed a Peking railroad crew. Are all of our SC politicians double-first- cousin-inbreeds? Maybe Mark Sanford went out of the country looking for diversity in the gene pool. I knew this was a strange place when I saw guys wearing Johnson and Murphy dress shoes with no socks with dress slacks. It’s like, hey dude your ankles match your neck… Only in SC!

Is it a requirement that all children of SC politicians must wear Ralph Lauren Polo attire? Polo shirts are now going for $70.00+ a pop. I thought this was a poor state. Maybe we should put a Polo pony on our license plate. Let’s do a web page for all the candidate’s Xmas cards. Must be the same photographer doing them. Where are the pets? Labs or Jack Russell Terriers? Boykin spaniels?
