Graham: Obama’s “Bitch?”
U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (RINO – S.C.) is portrayed as a loyal and faithful dog to President Barack Obama in a funny new cartoon published by the folks at GetLiberty.org.
We were forwarded the cartoon from several sources yesterday, including one anonymous Lindsey supporter who tersely informed us that “Senator Graham’s detractors have gone too far this time.”
Really? Because frankly, we don’t think they went far enough. In fact, we’d have put some low-hanging nipples on that dog and called the cartoon “Obama’s bitch.”
But that’s just us …
More to the point, the cartoon was accompanied by a scathing oped excoriating Graham for his support of a massive new energy tax known as “Cap and Trade.” The column, written by GetLiberty’s Carter Clews, refers to Graham as “The Watermelon Man,” because he’s “green on the outside, pink on the inside.”
Wait … do they mean “pink” like a communist? Or “pink” like … you know … never mind.
Anyway, from Get Liberty:
It is almost impossible to overstate the damage Graham has done across the board by sleeping with the enemy on this draconian socialistic measure. Not only has he increased the chances of the once-moribund bill’s passage by giving it bipartisan cover, he has also served notice on the American people that he has now become nothing more than a carbon-obsessed copy of all that he once pretended to oppose.
Like Marley’s Ghost, cap and trade was dead. Average, everyday Americans knew that it was government control in extremis. That it would give the greedy, grasping Washington political elite despotic dominion over the very air we breathe – and empower them to exact an onerous tax on every breath we take.
So, they told the politicians to back off, to stop scaring the children with dumbed-up stories about the earth on the brink of a fiery demise, and to cease making believe the carbon extant since the beginning of time had somehow transmogrified itself into the Deadly Creature from the Industrial Lagoon.
For once, the politicians, ever fearful of losing their plush offices and lavish perks, listened.
Of course, then along came Graham and his willingness to “reach across the aisle” in a “bipartisan spirit” to “get things done.”
Again, we applaud reaching across the aisle, working in the spirit of bipartisanship and getting things done … if the “thing” getting done is worthwhile.
People often forget, though, that these terms represent totally amoral concepts which derive their worth (or worthlessness) based on the end objective being sought.
In this case, the end objective could result in a $4,000 annual increase on the average American family’s energy bills – all while costing thousands of jobs and failing to achieve any reduction whatsoever in global emissions.
Does any of that sound worthwhile? Of course not …
Accordingly, in this case “reaching across the aisle” in a “bipartisan spirit” to “get things done” is not something to be praised, it’s something to be criticized mercilessly … even to the point of making someone “your bitch.”

We got Boeing…..for the low country…. so Lindsey had to deliver a bi-partisan Cap and Trade …the funny thing is that dimunition of Cap and Trade all moved so fast into the bullshit category…what with the the Russian hack of the emails and now Gore’s fantasy of no ice in the Artic ………that none of his suppport is really neccessary anymore.
The worst thing to come out of this will be some new censure votes coming on the county level…. as Romney agents flex some muscle and ask for Graham to declare some love early or else…..and this Watermelon Man visual.
Green on the outside and pink on the inside is just too good to go away .

Cartoons published by Get Liberty (Ron Paulites) are now news? Seriously? I’m sure next month’s Pauler Magazine will feature one about the evil Federal Reserve, the soon-to-be North American Union and its Amero currency, or how we brought 9/11 on ourselves due to Desert Shield/Desert Storm…
They’re also upset that Graham is supporting Obama’s deployment of 30K additional troops to Afghanistan. Gonna make a cute drawing for my fridge for that too? Give me a break. The political discourse on this site is worse than a kid on the playground saying, “My dad can beat up your dad.”

Couldn’t have said it better myself…cap and trade is horrible. No politician ESPECIALLY GOP should support it. He deserves to get hammered on it.

Billy Folks should stop to think before he writes any more petroleum paid hit pieces on Senator Graham. Dirty Harry wants to know “do you feel lucky?”
“Well do ya punk????”

I like Ron Paul because he’s saying what I’ve been thinking for a long time now–he just has a bigger organization and platform now.
Who REALLY wants to police the world–even if under the guise of “fighting terror?” We’ve done all we can do and illegally at that–didn’t declare war to do it.
Back to topic:
Will is exactly right as is getliberty.org. Lindsey Gaham is in politics for, yep, you guessed it: Lindsey Gaham!
I respect Benedict Arnold more than I do Lindsey Gaham. They’re both traitors to the nth degree, but at least Benedict Arnold was, ironically, instrumental in our winning our independence. Lindsey Gaham’s military accomplishments consist of being a sleazy lawyer in the USAF.
The funniest thing about Graham’s obvious glomming on to ANYTHING

[OOPS! Hit the wrong keys while trying to find the shift button!]
The funniest thing about Graham’s obvious glomming on to ANYTHING that will get him attention in the “moderate middle” is that the Climategate thing blew up just a few weeks after his green conversion. That kind of took the wind out of Captain Planet’s cape.
It just goes to show how crass and manipulative he is. The cartoon above really points out the extremes he went to in pleasing his new master.
DO NOT be surprised if he takes a cabinet level position in the next few months. He’ll probably be the next SecDef (so that Obama can fire him if the wars start to make Obama look bad).

The market (lower prices for natural gas/higher prices for coal) is already dictating a switch in energy production. We are already doing what would be done under “Cap and Trade.” Why then, not use it as a negotiation to open up more natural gas, break the log jam on the III+ reactors, and get a long term solution for the waste (Yucca once Harry is defeated)?
Or we just bash Lindsey some more!

Like a stopped clock being accurate twice a day, fascist intervention in the economy may once in a while match what is going on in the semi-free US market. My question to you is: “Why not let the free market work, then?”
As far as getting more energy, why does not Gaham work his effeminate butt off in simply changing the law instead of compromising with a huge lie to benefit himself and the other fascists in govt. and business?
Yeah, it’s that simple.
