Sanford Mocked Again On SNL

S.C. Gov. Mark Sanford – along with Nevada Sen. Jon Ensign and former N.C. Senator John Edwards – were lampooned on Saturday Night Live as three angry adulterers, jealous that coverage of golfer Tiger Woods had stolen their extramarital thunder.

Sanford – played by actor Jason Sudeikis – kicked off a faux C-SPAN press conference by lamenting the “double standard” the press has given to the Woods’ affairs.

“Over the last two weeks our national media have engaged in an orgy of coverage of professional golfer Tiger Woods and his alleged extramarital affairs,” Sudeikis (as Sanford) says. “The coverage has been excessive, it has been lurid and it has completely overshadowed coverage of our extramarital affairs.”

The three politicians then proceed to outline why their infidelity warrants continued national attention.

“Like Tiger Woods, we have broken our marriage vows,” says Sen. Ensign (played by actor Bill Hader). “But in addition, as elected officials, we have also violated the public trust.”

Again and again SC is the butt of jokes – the biggest joke we have is going to be in office for another year thanks to our current lawmakers-we will have to stand Marke’s shenanigans over and over – he cares for no one but himself and his “soul mate” homewrecker!!

Tiger Quits Golf; Will Become Politician
    Ensign, Sanford Applaud Move

ORLANDO (The Borowitz Report) – In a development that rocked the worlds of sports and politics, golf superstar Tiger Woods announced today that he was hanging up his clubs to become a politician.

“After two days of refusing to speak to the media about suspicious aspects of my personal life, I have proved to myself that I am qualified for a career in politics,” Mr. Woods told reporters in Orlando.

His stunning decision immediately drew praise from such disparate politicians as Gov. Mark Sanford of South Carolina and Sen. John Ensign of Nevada, who called a press conference to welcome Mr. Woods to the Republican Party.

“Tiger Woods has not yet revealed what his party affiliation will be, but based on what I’ve seen, he has what it takes to be a Republican,” Sen. Ensign said.

Thanks Sanford. The whole country knows what a loser looks like & unfortunately, you just won’t go away or step away from the microphone long enough for people to forget who you are. Just how much more damage is this guy going to do? Unbelievable.
