How many of you have a 401k booming again? If not, you need better research or broker. I agree with Really; the President has only been in office for eleven months. More than likely by the end of his first term Independents and Democrats will be singing a different tune. Right now there a lot of things not moving along in the House or Senate. Too many old fogies more worried about saving their seat or bickering like little school girls than helping Americans. We are one of the largest most developed nations, yet are one of the most ass backward one as well. I remember when the President took office, everyone was worried about their savings for retirement. BTW, every single debate in 2008 Obama said the policy for war is what he decided a few weeks ago. Also, my family kept jobs b/c of the stimulus. Read the oversight for it, it states stim was to create or save jobs. Unemployment, foreclosure, repossessed car, etc. Did not occur for me. A significant change from the fears prior to Obama's policies. Anything else... My chiropractic care was cut, friends (seniors, disabled people) won't get raises for 2 years, I believe. The accompanying letter stated "the cost of living did not go up as the reason for no raises". It sure as hell went up for those of us in the real world. Yep, Bush's 3rd term, just like Rice said.
