Obama Approval Sinks To Record Low

President Barack Obama’s job approval rating has slipped to a record low of 44% according to the latest Rasmussen Reports poll, released Monday.

Fifty-five percent of registered voters now disapprove of the job Obama is doing – including 42% who disapprove strongly.

“That’s the lowest level yet measured for this president,” the pollsters wrote in their report. “Previously, his overall approval rating had fallen to 45% twice, once in early September and once in late November.”

Meanwhile, the poll found that 56% of Americans oppose the socialized medicine bill that’s currently moving through the U.S. Senate compared to only 40% who support it.

Sound money would do more for health care than a public option. Lets get to the real reason that his approvel is down, he was elected to bring about change and end the good ole boy system but he has proven to be Bushs 3rd term. There is no Republican or Democrate, simply you have the Elite, and then everyone else. The Elite are represented by both parties but the comman working class or the comman solder have no real representation.

Bush’s third term! R U kidding or smoking something! Obama is nothing like the fake “mission accomplished” Bush and the change I voted for is working out for me. Obama has been in office 11 months. I thought it is a four year term?! U people’s impatince is baffling. He will need all that time to fix the mess left over by Bush.

Really – how about sharing with us as to what your statement “change I voted for is working out for me” means. Just curious because the “change” is certainly not working out for most Americans.

It not the messenger, it’s the message.

Americans don’t want statism, pure and simple.

We Americans crave our freedom and liberty.

I suspect as he reveals his true agenda, Obama’s numbers will continue to tank.

USA/Gallup poll puts approval at 49%.
Remember that “It’s the economy, stupid.”
The job situation will improve before the elections next year and Dems will remain in control of Congress.

Elite is right on the money. Obama cozies up to Wall Street- just look at who he has running Treasury and the Fed. Obama gave big PHARMA a lock on selling high priced drugs. Obama is ramping up the war machine and continues to send poor kids to fight unnecessary wars. Deficit spending is full speed ahead.
We got us a more eloquent and intelligent Bush on steroids.

Things aren’t improving from my perspective. My chiropractic care was cut, friends (seniors, disabled people) won’t get raises for 2 years, I believe. The accompanying letter stated “the cost of living did not go up as the reason for no raises”. It sure as hell went up for those of us in the real world.

Yep, Bush’s 3rd term, just like Rice said. Troops to Afghanistan (what happened to vice-pres’s wanting to use drones and technology?) What a disappointment.

The change for me primarily is confidence in an intelligent President who carefully deliberates matters such as war policy.I have direct concerns related to war. BTW, every single debate in 2008 Obama said the policy for war is what he decided a few weeks ago. Also, my family kept jobs b/c of the stimulus. Read the oversight for it, it states stim was to create or save jobs. Unemployment, foreclosure, repossessed car, etc. Did not occur for me. A significant change from the fears prior to Obama’s policies. Anything else…

I remember when the President took office, everyone was worried about their savings for retirement. How many of you have a 401k booming again? If not, you need better research or broker.

I agree with Really; the President has only been in office for eleven months. More than likely by the end of his first term Independents and Democrats will be singing a different tune. Right now there a lot of things not moving along in the House or Senate. Too many old fogies more worried about saving their seat or bickering like little school girls than helping Americans. We are one of the largest most developed nations, yet are one of the most ass backward one as well.
