Bingham Wins Legislature’s “Dapper Dan Man” Award
S.C. Majority Leader Kenny Bingham (RINO – Lexington) has won the General Assembly’s 2009 “Dapper Dan Man” award for a record ninth consecutive year.
Awarded annually to the lawmaker whose excessive use of hair product “embodies” the excesses of the legislative branch, “Slick” (as Bingham is known to his colleagues) has won the award every year since he was first elected to the House in 2000.
In addition to another commemorative plaque from the S.C. Association Of Hair Fixative Retailers, Bingham will receive a year’s supply of Dapper Dan pomade … which he blew through in three weeks last year.

We were going to call Bingham for a comment, but then we remembered that such an inquiry would require us to listen to his insufferable Cayce, S.C. twang, something no one should be forced to do on a Friday …

I have a question. Where do you find all the great pictures used to head the various stories? I don’t even seek an exact source if that is a problem, but rather just am curious in general as to how you find them? It would seem that a routine Google Images search would either not get as good or fitting of pictures or would take a lot of time sifting and searching.
