Our Definition Of “Cyber Monday”

We hate manufactured “holidays” around here.

Heck, there are more than a few real holidays that we can’t stand …

Of course, the only thing we hate more than manufactured holidays (Kwanzaa) or stupid holidays (Columbus Day) are legitimate holidays that politicians set out to ruin by constantly bombarding us with their stupid email greetings.

Ughhhhh!!!!!

Anyway, today’s super-annoying made-up holiday is called “Cyber Monday,” and it is the exclusive property of the National Retail Federation – which created it four years ago.

What is it?

It’s a marketing term, people, unlike Sic Willie’s “Cyber Monday,” which is an actual holiday that takes place weekly (in his pants) and involves an automated monthly credit card charge.

:)

Anyway, marketers hope that their Cyber Monday will soon develop into an Internet-only shopping craze where retailers drive consumers to their websites via special “screen-buster” bargains, mimicking the “door-busters” of Black Friday.

Of course whether or not all this cleverness will make a dent in holiday sales – which are off to another rotten start in 2009 – remains to be seen.

What is capable of making a dent?

heh-heh … you guessed it!

Where do you file your age certificates, as required by Federal Law, to say that your models are over 18 years old? I know that my ties are older than those young ladies!

Snake,

Are those women naked? Or doing anything pornish?

No?

A-ite then.

Come on now. These pictures are a perfect example of the Carob Syndrome. It’s like using a carob bar to satisfy your chocolate cravings. Carob looks and smells like the real thing–but who are you kidding? You know that it isn’t chocolate, and now you lust for Hershey’s even more. It all right -FITS. I’ll just visit your Heidi Klum pics! :-)
