Miss This Turkey?
Obviously, our answer to that question is a resounding “No …”
As much as we detest the policies of the current “Deciderer,” we don’t miss George W. Bush one bit.
“Bush’s betrayal of core Republican principles cost his party not one, but two elections,” we remarked upon the occasion of his departure from the Oval Office, and the fact that President Barack Obama is even more of a leftist than we originally thought only underscores the of Bush’s betrayal.
So .. which “turkey” do we miss?
Actually it’s a tie between Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton.
Of course, our opinion is like our founding editor’s … well, you know.
We want to know what you think …

I’m a conservative and I don’t care what he’s doing with cigars and fat chicks but we had some pretty good economic prosperity in the 90’s when that good ole cracker would go hoggin!

W was indeed a missirble disappointment as a conservative, but he has my undying gratitude for three things. 1) Fighting jihadist and Baathist $hitheads and keeping us safe from further terrorist attacks. 2) Defeating Al Gore 3) Defeating John F-ing Kerry. Given my choices last November, I might well have voted for the little chimp had he been on the ballot.

How is Barry a leftist? His campaign made promises that sounded good if you were a leftist. He frightened people with the prospect of national health insurance and that hasn’t gone anywhere. He sounded at some point like he was going to end hostilities in Iraq and Afghanistan, but that hasn’t changed. He even threatened to close down Guantanamo and other secret prisons. None of these things have happened. The Wall Street bailout which was supported and started under 43 went forth without a hitch. Nobody is going to close down any prison. The war will continue. The provisions in the Patriot Act so despised by the leftists remain. All you rightists need to relax. Nothing you fear will happen is going to change in any appreciable way that won’t be quashed before it goes into effect. The only thing that will happen is that the media will make noise about it and the status quo will remain. Just think of it as marching in place. The only thing that will happen is that so many people will be alienated by 44 that in 2010 the right-wingers will probably take over the whole country like 2002.
