I am, as you may have noticed, back to being a regular FITS fixture. As also you surely noticed, I went MIA for awhile.
So to where did I disappear? Well, I wasn’t fired … though judging from some concerned (and some gleeful) correspondence I received during my hiatus, there was speculation of that sort.
The truth is that I made like our governor and took off on a writing sabbatical of my own. Also like our governor, that sabbatical didn’t take me to the Appalachian Trial.
But unlike our governor, I actually did write. A lot. A whole book, actually.
As FITS reported last spring, my dazzling verbal stylings will soon be available in book form.
The Middling Effect will be available early next year, and, because I know y’all are on the edge of your seats, I may even excerpt a chapter or two right here on FITS. (Yeah, you’re welcome).
Anyway, it’s good to be back!

Mande:
Congratulations! Who’s going to carry the book, what’s it about, and how can we get signed copies?

Welcome Back! You are and were missed.

Since I know a thing or two about writing bad books that nobody reads, I can’t wait to get a copy. It certainly will not disappoint if I know me some Mande.
And will the cover include a gratuitous cleavage shot?

Anyway, to the important stuff…is that your back in the photo?

Can’t wait for the book to come out. Good job Mande. I know you will make your mark—you’ve got “it”.
