Obama Approval Rating Dips Below 50%
U.S. President Barack Obama’s approval ratings have dipped below 50% for the first time since he was elected, according to the results of two major polls released earlier this week.
On Wednesday, a Quinnipiac University survey showed Obama’s approval rating at 48% – the lowest of his Presidency. On Friday, a Gallup poll showed Obama’s approval rating at 49% – also the lowest of his administration.
“Americans are concerned about the Obama administration’s reliance on government spending to solve the nation’s problems and the growing federal budget deficit,” Gallup said in an analysis of its poll.
Meanwhile, in the Quinnipiac poll, the percentage of voters who support Obama’s handling of the economy fell from a 47-46 split in October to a 52-43% disapproval in November.
“Millions of voters who sided with (Obama) last November because they thought he would bring change to Washington aren’t crazy about the kind of change he is trying to bring,” said Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute.
After enjoying a 70% approval rating following his inauguration in January, Obama has been polling in the low 50% range for the last few months.
Also, off-year election results earlier this month – including two GOP gubernatorial wins in states carried by Obama a year ago (New Jersey and Virginia) – were also seen as rebukes of the direction in which Obama and Congressional Democrats are taking the nation.
Of course that doesn’t seem to be stopping them from moving full speed ahead in that direction, doesn’t it?

Obama is the Puppet of an elite syndicate of international socialists led by Georgie Soros.
Obama is not interested in polls.
Obama controls the media.
Obama will be re-elected by the masses.
When 47% of voters don’t pay taxes, Obama is a shoe-in.
Besides, with his crony Holder in charge of the DOJ, don’t expect any attempt to investigate voter fraud or voter intimidation…

Looks like the Boy Wonder is taking it hard . . . can’t tell if it is the cigarettes or the stress? However, his support has always been lower than that reported. I can hardly wait until he is replaced. Until then, let’s keep fighting his agenda. I plan to put my money where my mouth is in this next election.

This man and his socialist-aligned buddies will do tremendous harm to this nation for decades to come. Bush may have been stupid, but what makes this worse is that the Obamanation knows exactly what he is doing and is doing it intentionally to “transform” this nation. People like Red Bank who blindly support any politician – democrat or republican – allow our nation to suffer tremendously while they stupidly cheer on their “winning team.” Open your eyes people – your country is being stolen and moved into the same column as Venezuela and other socialist utopias.

Actually, the next “thing” to “pass” (ie-rammed down the US taxpayer’s throats) will be “immigration reform.”
The Democrats will be re-elected in spades.
Eventually, however, enough tax payers like myself will organize and either:
1) re-locate to another country where hard work and ingenuity isn’t punished and where sloth isn’t rewarded
2) down-size our lifestyles and dramatically decrease productivity which will result in less taxable income thus less revenue for the Gubmint to “re-distribute”
3) relocate to a state like Texas which has the legal right to succeed

In 1981, Ronald Reagan, a candidate considered to be significantly to the right of his party’s prior candidates, was elected President. He had high approval ratings initially and was considered a master of public communications.
He enacted his campaign platform in short order, after which unemployment climbed to well over 10% for a sustained period of time. In conjunction with that, his approval ratings fell precipitiously. His party took a beating in the midterm elections, and his re-election prospects looked bleak.
Reagan did not backtrack on his platform, and the econony started to turn in his third year.
History repeats itself, just sometimes in reverse.

Obama will make millions of illegal immigrants legal, thus creating an entire new level of underclass which will be dependent on the government….and able to vote. It will ensure Democrats and or more Socialists are elected for years to come.
Time to pack up and leave if you can…..Texas is looking good.

Worst president in US History. He and the current congress have manged to either pass of partially pass three bills that rival prhibition and smoot-hawley as all time worstlegislation. Cap-and-screw, the Porkulus Bill, and this unbeleivebly bad health care bill(s).
Only challenger for bad pres is perhaps Grant..and at least he had the excuse of being drunk most of the time.
How in the name of god did we ever allow the dems to get a fullibuster profff majority, giving them two full years to destroy our economy???
I also never thought having come of age with Woodward & Bernstein, that I would see the mainstream press give the administration all the grilling of a Breshnev session with Pravda circa 1975.
Please, lets us get these assholes out in 10, complete the job with the primary asshole in 12. We will need HUGE majorities to undo the damage they are going to pass in next few months. Clearly, they simply do not care, and are desperate to pass anything at this point.

Just asking, what do people think would have happened if the stimulus package was not passed? I’ve thought about it a lot, just wondering what others think.
I believe we’re doomed if illegal immigrants aren’t sent home & if the government does not stop sending jobs overseas in the name of cheap labor or for whatever benefits them. Let them fight for their rights in their own country. The U.S. had to. And for god’s sake, why is our government giving them businesses?
America may be the melting pot, but we’re not the soup pot, as in soup pot of the world’s soup kitchen. It’s like feeding & caring for your neighbors or a complete stranger & their kids while ignoring yourself & your family and doing without.
While it may sound extreme, U.S. folks could get together and somewhat boycott our government. Start growing their own food, make their own clothes, set up somewhat of a barter system, and buy from American owned companies only. It may sound silly, hell, I guess the government could find some way to take the lion’s share of anything U.S. citizens have.

The Prokulous wan’t nessesarily a bad idea…its a classic kensyian responce to a downtown. The Chinese did one roughly the same time for roughly the same dollar amount and returned to high single digit growth in about 6 months. The differance was the execution-HOW it was spent. Infrastructure,-bridges, hi speed rail, smart grid, along with investments in basic research(alt energy, materials, etc) for long term application to emerging industries. Thats what the Chinese did. We funded every pet pork project Pelosi and crew could return to their backers to buy their support. While unemployment benefit exentions, buyout of the car companies and AIG may have social benefits, they are NOT stimulative, let alone the wasted outrageous pork. In others words, the idio in chief let Pelosi and Ried screw the pooch. This was due to his total lack of experiance inw riting legislation of he and his team-he deferred to the bitch and the dweeb. If it had been spent prooperly, we would have had a bounce. The small bounce we did get (even Congress would have a hard time spending 857 BILLON and not having some impact) was more than offset by the drag of negetive psychology over the impending higher taxes to pay for it. Now its gone, and we have to pay it back.
What a disater, and typical of the complete, total, ineptitude of the WH. It SHOULD have helped, amnd was the right move in theory. Once he gave it to Congress to spend it was all over. The blank stares on their faces show they just do not undrstand why it wouldn’t work. When the legislation was drafted anyone who has even taken one economics course in their lives knew this was absolutley not going to help, and would have the opposite effect. If they had not spent this $857 billion, they would have been able to do health care and would have had a lot more support for it.
Just a complete ship of fools…Moe Obama, Larry pelosi, and Curly Reid.
