Last month it was What The Folks? - a website that claims to have the inside scoop on our founding editor’s untold millions.

This month, it’s Who The Folks? – a mirror website that promises to expose the affairs of our favorite “moral degenerate,” including “the orgies, the threesomes, the one night stands, the lovers before and after his sham of a marriage.”

Yeah … apparently in addition to being rich and famous, Sic Willie is also laying pipe 24-7.  Can all the ladies in the house say yeah (yeah!) …

Please.  This is utter and complete nonsense.  Sic Willie had no game before he got married and we’re guessing he has even less now that his testicles have been turned in.

Plus, there is absolutely no way in hell our founding editor is this important … right?

Right?

In the meantime, for all you haters out there …

Our Funding Editor wants to know if this is what her IT Director was talking about when he said sic(k) willie has gone phishing.

Regardless, it smells like another willie scam.

By Ynot on November 2nd, 2009 at 6:57 am

Again, must be doin something right.

By beentook2 on November 2nd, 2009 at 9:36 am

Don’t really give a rat’s ass where willie’s tea bags are currently resting. However, do want to know why willie is giving Dork Bauer a free pass. If willie is a Dork supporter then it is time for me to find another web site.

BT2,

A “free pass?” You mean like when we were the first major news outlet to run with the “Andre is Gay” allegations?

http://www.fitsnews.com/2009/09/01/andre-outed-again/

Word we’ve heard is our post prompted Jakie to release his letter, which blew the whole thing up.

http://www.fitsnews.com/2009/09/04/jakie-didnt-get-the-memo/

Also check Sic’s description of Bauer in this post calling on Sanford to resign. It’s almost harsher on Bauer than Sanford.

http://www.fitsnews.com/2009/06/25/resign-mark/

We also busted Bauer doing a big fundraiser on a lawyer’s yacht down in Charleston recently.

“Free Pass?”

Please.

Of course, at one point or another during this campaign we’ve been accused of being on EVERY Republican GOP candidate’s payroll.

Isn’t it ironic that when it comes to “What the Folks?” and “Who the Folks?”, Fits’ rock solid investigative journalism skills go completely limp. Combine that with the fact that Fits is the biggest promoter of these websites and, well, you get the picture.

Let me do a little more ’splainin. Fits could easily file a type of defamation lawsuit known as “John Doe”, as he professes not to know the identity of the person or persons behind “What the Folks?” and “Who the Folks?”. This would give legal authority to serve subpoenas on the internet hosting service(s) where the anonymous e-mails and websites are originating, in order to find out the identity of the individual(s) behind the IP addresses of these e-mails and websites. In response to this suggestion previously, Fits raised the “public figure” defense. Firstly, this raises a question as to why Fits would seem to actually be defending these sites. And secondly, so what, at least give it a try. Here is a guy who will go all the way to DC in search of an “eight ball” on the National Mall, but he won’t lift a finger to file and serve the most basic court papers in an attempt to find out who is behind a couple of websites which defame him and seem to bother him so much.

In summary, the goal of the court action would not necessarily be to win the defamation action, it’s more to expose the identity of the person or persons responsible for the offending websites. Fits has enough in my humble opinion to be able to present a prima facie case of defamation, and not to have his case dismissed on “summary judgment”, despite the fact that he is willing to concede that he is a public figure. I believe that he could show a case on its face in the absence of a defense, and that there are material facts in question, and that the “John Doe” defendant would not be entitled to judgment as a matter of law. There is a high probability that he could find out who is behind this sinister plot. The only real question is why won’t he even try?

Gee whiz willie. I lay down a few words before heading up to Newberry and when I get back I find pecker tracks all over my head. As for accusations, ain’t made none about you being on any one’s payroll. Been reading about the Dork on several other sites and thought maybe was off limits for some reason to your words of wisdom.

BT2 – it’s ok dude – you just struck a nerve.

I just wanna know if the stocking clad lass will be “entrepeneuring” tonite?

Any post that gets BIN involved depresses me. Lets just stick to the porn. Or Spurrier. Or Klempson. BIN never bothers anyone on those.

James, I sure hope she is and that she’s affordable. Cheaper to rent a hooker than buy a future exwife

Geez, Jonny D. I don’t agree with Mr. Folks’ politics, but I hardly think he’s promoting these sites so much, and I don’t think he has expressed any concern for defamation.
Seems like he’s amused and a little bemused, that’s all. Having a little fun with the notoriety.
Give it a rest.
There’s no substance there, so why go after them?
But there’s some substance here, some that I actually regret to read, given my own political preferences.
That’s it. Take deep, cleansing breaths.
And chill.

Johnny D is over lawyering. You can’t buy enough exposure in the marketing/news business and exposing these sites by clogging our court system and paying some attorneys fees may sound good to the bureaucratic economy we are living in but they are doing FITS more of a favor by existing. Besides, if Folks really wants to know who is behind those sites he can find out, without the need of a lawsuit; he has a tendency to know how to “get things” that scare demogouges enough to lobby against the interests of this website. That is power they wish they had.

By Jonny D on November 5th, 2009 at 4:46 pm

Fellas, my question as to why Fits won’t even try is obviously rhetorical. These websites, and the circumstances surrounding them, would strongly suggest that they are in fact Fits Flogs, designed either as a marketing ploy, a phishing expedition, or just one big inside joke. But on the remote chance that What The Folks? and Who The Folks? are legitimate independent creations, if Fits is not going to sue them, he should do the next best thing, which is just ignore and disregard them (and BTW, Michelle is indeed a cutie pie, but Lady Jaydee is the one who really floats my boat – if only she were really MY Lady Jaydee!).
