Several Tennessee fans have commended to our attention the fact that we may have been a little too hard on first year Volunteers’ head coach Lane Kiffin the other day.
We’ll let you judge for yourself, but it was strongly implied that we should “say something nice” about Coach Kiffin as a way of making things right prior to the Vols’ Halloween night showdown with Steve Spurrier’s USC Gamecocks.
Needless to say, we took this request directly to our founding editor, who was in an uncharacteristically obliging mood.
“Tell him I would make sweet, passionate love or have rough, kinky sex with his wife … whatever her preference,” Sic volunteered, noting that in some cultures such an offer be considered a compliment.

Wives and children are off limits. All “real” men understand this! Would you make such a comment to Mr. Kiffin in person? I didn’t think so!
