Former GOP presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) will deliver an address at the University of South Carolina next month on the “future of individual liberty and the importance of the U.S. Constitution.”
And yes, every “Republican” politician in South Carolina should be there with a pen and pad to take notes – especially U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, who has all but declared war on the fiscal conservative wing of the Republican Party.
Paul’s address will take place on Monday, November 9 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Carolina Coliseum in downtown Columbia, S.C. The event is being sponsored jointly by Young Americans for Liberty, the Carolina Debate Union and the USC Honors College.
According to event organizers, the lecture is “open to the public and free of charge.”

Linsey Graham will be nowhere near this man……Ron is a true patriot
Lindesey would sell his people out to communism for some added power

Wow, a Republican who actually has real conservative principles and stands by them, in South Carolina.
Dr. Paul’s gonna be one lonely fellow.

This will be a fine speech for all the tea party people to attend. Will there or won’t there be a 9/11 Truthers meeting afterwards?

Yes,
Finally an American patriot who has real conservative principles and advocate them in South Carolina. Dr. Paul is NO LONGER a lonesome fellow, the American people is with him!
The theme of the speech will be the “Future of individual Liberty and the importance of the U.S. Constitution.” This will be a fine speech for all the young college students to attend.
South Carolinian will understand the truth of what America is made of, its constitutional and limited government, it’s a system of representatives and its republic of laws.
Lindsey Graham is a talking-head, a shill and a tool of the party elite.
Power, party and principles are not equal.
A noble man, a patriot, a moral citizen with high regards and respects for individual Liberty and Constitutional Laws.

Dr. Paul knows all about South Carolina, it’s dirty politics, the Governor and Federal Reserve Governor.
I am thankful he chose to venture into ” enemy territory”. He knows the risks.
Ron Paul is truly an American patriot.
He may have other things on his agenda as well…. Sic, check that out please.

FITS:
Ron Paul has been “tilting at windmills” for years, but I have to agree with most of the other posters: I think people have come around to his way of thinking ’cause his message hasn’t changed that I can see.

Ron Paul stood up and said going to war in Iraq was the wrong thing for us to do.
He was right in 2003 that easy credit from the Federal Reserve was creating a housing bubble.
He is right wanting to audit the Federal Reserve and see what a few secretive, unelected men have been doing with trillions of our dollars.
Ron Paul understands that if we continue to police the world, we will quickly go broke.
Ron Paul obeys the Constitution while Lindsey Graham trashes it.

Aliens will open up this night of “family fun” with a speech about life on Pluto and the Earth is really flat.

Unlike Lindsey Grahamesty, Ron Paul follows the contitution of the USA to the letter. His voting record in congress proves that point. He is a true patriot & could run with the likes of Nathan Hale & Patrick Henry. A true extraordinary statesman. Let us fellow patriots help him as much as we can in getting the FED audited.

My backside………..
I would love to LECTURE …..Ronny…

If we had heeded Ron Paul’s warnings over the past decade, we would not be in the mess we are in today. That is an undeniable fact.

Idiots.
I was instrumental twice in bringing Ron Paul to SC in the past, long before he declared for the Presidency. Both times were a total waste of effort. Yes, the people in attendance were excited, proud to shake his hand, proud to be with him, proud to talk to him. Did the media attend? Hell, no. Were his visits publicized? Don’t be ridiculous.
I was also in attendance at the SC Republican Presidential debate, where the “freedom-loving” Faux News and the rest of the MSM joined with the other Republicans in insulting and denigrating Ron Paul. The aisles were filled with bought-and-paid-for representatives from the Romney, Huckabee, and McCain camps, cheering their own, jeering SPECIFICALLY at Ron Paul. They DO NOT WANT his message out, they DO NOT WANT the American public to believe that they have individual rights and personal responsibility, they want to convince Americans that their only salvation is more government.
Point blank, anyone who believes that Ron Paul can or will be allowed to make a difference in SC or National politics is an idiot. Siddown and shaddup, and let your massas tell you what is good for you.

As a lefty with no hope for the state, I always vote for Ron Paul in the GOP primary and just skip the Dems, unless my fellow Green Party people are running. (I can at least try to bring the overworked troops home, please God.) RP is the only candidate who seems to have a clue that, you know: ENDLESS WARS COST MONEY.
Ron Paul is dangerous, yall… he thinks for himself, talks directly to the people. Expect them to keep ignoring him, because it freaks them out whenever a politician dispenses with media-androids and goes right to the people, regardless of left or right (same is true for Kucinich, for instance).
Good luck, folks. :) When he makes it to the upstate, I’ll be there covering him too.

Support for Ron Paul is growing in SC as more people are giving him a listen than last time around. Unfortunately, apathy and ignorance abound in this state, so he still has a lot of adversity to overcome.
It would help a lot of he could get a public endorsement from a significant voice of influence in the state. However, should political cowardice continue to be the order of the day, Ron Paul will continue to allow it to distinguish him as the only alternative to the cookie cutter candidates of a failed party and its failed policies.

The Election will be rigged, You will be told that you are the only lunatic that supports Ron Paul. The bought and paid for Media will convince you of this. The US will be fully absorbed in the Globalist One World government ran by the UN. Your gun rights will be taken away. All the blood sacrificed by patriotic Americans over the centuries to support and defend the Constitution will have been wasted. Because you were blinded by the circus called television. You may as well apologize to your grandchildren right now, for losing the most free and just country the world has ever known. Unless by some miracle of God, people turn off the tv and study the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and realize what we are about to lose.
