His own attorneys admitted that whether or not the Ethics Commission charges him with a violation of that Act has no bearing on whether or not he should be impeached. Now that the issue has been delayed, Sanford will spend another legislative session keeping legislators from doing their jobs and diverting attention from the real business of governing our state.
