Everybody And Their Brother Is Paying Will Folks

million dollars

In case you haven’t stopped by What The Folks? yet, the website is quite simply a “must.”

WTF popped up earlier this month and purports to expose everyone (and we mean everyone) who is paying our founding editor to wield his mighty new media sword.

And yes, the list – like a certain someone’s “johnson” – is long and distinguished.  Or at least “that’s what she said.” (Ohhhhhhhh!)

Apparently, $80,000 of Sic Willie’s “dirty money” has already been exposed, although the website doesn’t reveal how it arrived at that figure – or identify who paid it.

All we know is that if Sic got $80,000 recently, he sure as hell didn’t share it with any of us!

Anyway, included among those entities and individuals that the folks on the WTF site claim are paying our founding editor are U.S. Rep. Henry Brown, S.C. Sen. Tom Davis, First Tuesday Strategies (the firm of lobbyist J. Warren Tompkins), U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson, lobbyist Larry Marchant, Charleston attorney Mullins McLeod, S.C. Attorney General Henry McMaster, Richard Quinn & Associates, former S.C. Majority Leader Rick Quinn, Howard Rich, S.C. Gov. Mark Sanford, political consultant Rod Shealy, South Carolinians for Responsible Government, political consultant Terry Sullivan … and the list goes on and on and on.

Call us crazy, but don’t we bash the vast majority of those people on a near-daily basis?

What a joke.

Anyway, as interesting as all this speculation is, we’re really looking forward to the rumored launching of another anti-FITS website.  In fact, we were emailed recently about this site, which promises to “expose Will Folks multiple lovers, ’sextortion’ plots and the orgies and threesomes he conceals from his battered wife.”

Sweet!

Needless to say that email – like the WTF site – was written anonymously.

Asked what he would say (if given the opportunity) to two anonymous web operators alleging him to be a party to untold riches and liaisons with multiple women, Sic had a rather witty reply.

“I would tell them to carry on,” he said.

a website is reporting harmful things about someone without revealing their sources or proving it? and they may be wrong? well that’s terrible…

I like how they list Henry McMaster as one of the people. They obviously don’t realize that those are automated google ads. Those are automatically generated based on key-words.

Don’t these dumb asses running this site know they are just giving you even more publicity by running and promoting it? No PR is bad PR… hello. They are making Sic Willie a martyr in what he does.

I like how @whatthefolks keeps promo-ing the site on twitter and then when you go to the page there’s maybe one or two comments. stellar.

It just confirms what we ‘insiders’ have know all along ….. EVERYONE is Will Folks’ bitch.

Come on people, What The Folks is obviously a Fits Side Project, kind of like the Joe Perry Project (and I must admit, I don’t think I’ve ever made a more rediculous comparison, but hey, there ain’t no substitute for arrogance!).

Maybe it’s a FITS project, maybe not. The comments all seem to be written by the same person. They use the same words (bully) and nicknames for Will (Billy the Blogger). The tone all seems to be the same. Normal blogs have posters calling each other names, not just a unified voice in agreement with the blog author.

There is almost no content at all. Why can’t they link to specific examples? Why can’t they do their own analysis of ads that run on fitsnews? How hard is that?

If it was a FITS project I think there would be more actual research and more links to FITS content.

That website is dumb. It looks like someone just made a list of your advertisers. McCleod is up there now and McMaster was up there for weeks. Money is money baby.

Does that website show how much you make off Google ads?

I can’t wait for the orgy story. It’ll be like Durkin’s 05!

This reminds me. Please tell Will my check will be a couple of days late.

A website that prints made up stories from anonymous tips? They should call it FITS News.

Do you remember when B-Rabbit did that last rap battle and unleashed his self-deprecating rap to win? This is like that, except, Slim Shady has talent and a career and people actually cared. But keep trying.

It’s believable that Schtick Willie, who writes this article as though he is someone else, set the site up himself. But, I don’t have a bunch of voices in my head, so what do I know?

Wow, that’s a really nice website, lots of work and probably investment. Will, I don’t always agree with you, but in the grand scheme of the universe, is taking you down worth THAT much effort?

I guess the first question that comes to mind is who is behind the website that is trying to find out who is behind you? Disclosure should work both ways.

The second is … if you’re for sale, can you send me a rate card?

Looks like Wes Wolfe is really vitriolic toward Will. Why don’t we guess who is behind whatthefolks.com? Will, why don’t you put up a poll?

Point of Order….you can NOT set yourself up for “thats what she said”. You sound like Michael Scott!
