One of South Carolina’s top young lobbyists will be called up to the “major leagues” beginning next month.
Katie Dunning, who has worked for the past five years as a lobbyist with The Palmetto Policy Group, has accepted a new position with America’s Health Insurance Plans, a national trade group that represents the health insurance industry.
FITS readers will recall that this is the same organization that released a study a week ago detailing the huge costs associated with whatever version of “Obamacare” was being peddled a week ago.
It’s sort of a moving target, you know.
Anyway, Dunning will serve as Regional Director for State Advocacy – although her office will be located in Washington, D.C.

Lobbying for the big Insurance companies? So, I see. She sold her soul to the devil. THEY are the ones that are sucking the life out of people. She will make a lot of money. Money that would help those that need health care. So there is blood on that money.
