The “Dirty Sanford”

sanford chili

We obviously don’t have as much free time on our hands as our longtime political “frenemy” Wesley Donehue, but props to him for snaring one of the funniest political pictures of the year at a Columbia, S.C. “Chili Cookoff” over the weekend.

You’ve heard of the “Dirty Sanchez?”  Meet the “Dirty Sanford,” a particular brand of Argentine chili that’s “so good you will think you have found your soulmate.”

Now that’s spicy stuff!

And further proof that we’ve got a laughingstock currently residing in our Governor’s Mansion …

Re: “dirty sanchez” — Even jaded and cynical ol’ Sigh was a bit shocked at the “life” that must exist beyond his leafy redoubt as I Googled “Charleston Steamer” seeking to purchase a traditional Low Country rice steamer (as rice stores well in the bunker).

We DO NOT want to impeach Sanford. He is clearly, nearly the only financially sane person around the state legislature. Please, please do not wish Andre Bauer upon us!

SouthernMa, I don’t really believe what you say, but even if it were true, what’s the difference between having one “financially sane” person in the legislature, and having none.
It’s actually more effecient, is it not, getting your “financially sane” stuff not accomplished with none rather than one, right?

Does financially sane means using taxpapyers’ money to finance a roll in
the hay with Maria Chapur? And returning it only after Sinfraud got caught? Lay off the ganga will you?

I tried that chili. Damn good. I am now emailing ‘spicy’ letters to the makers of it.
