We have no idea what burlesque means, except it apparently has something to do with women taking their clothes off in an artsy sort of way. Using irony. And lipstick on each others cleavage.

You know … whichever works for you.

Anyway, Dita von Teese – who is perhaps best known for marrying Marilyn Manson – knows all about burlesque, because as an 18-year old stripper she reportedly grew frustrated with the uniform monotony of it all and decided to inject a “vintage fetish” look into her act.

Voila! Burlesque, people.

Because God forbid it ever be about just the boobies.

Von Teese also participated in a 1999 lesbian photo shoot with Playmate Alley Baggett that ten years later is finally seeing the light of day thanks to the magic of perverts and the Internet.
