But more money = more outreach opportunity = gets the candidate around the state more meeting and greeting and talking about what he or she can bring to the state. And money shows how influential the candidate is, who is giving to them, and who their supporters are. More money for a candidate means more votes from the people - ultimately the most important. Sure, votes from the people count.
