Vince Vaughn Has Man Boobs?
Vince Vaughn’s declining career and his alleged “man boobs” are the subjects of a scathing new movie review in the UK’s Guardian, which slams his latest effort, Couples Retreat, as emblematic of the “steady decline in Vaughn’s work since Wedding Crashers.”
In fact “scathing” is putting it nicely, with this review basically portraying Vaughn and his co-star Jon Favreau as two Hollywood gluttons who have traded their in their talent, integrity (and physiques) on increasingly vacuous big budget comedies – a far cry from 1996’s indie smash, Swingers.
From the Guardian review:
… back in Swingers, Vaughn had the requisite skinniness to persuade us he really was a half-starved young Hollywood actor. Now he has boy boobs, love handles and back fat. And all this (a lot of this) in a movie that requires him to wear a swimsuit most of the time.
Vaughn is threatening to turn into the male version of his vacuous ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston (though she does admittedly have better boobs).
Ouch!
The review goes on to mock the PG-13 rating Vaughn and Favreau’s new movie obtained, saying that Couples Retreat “has all the integrity of a movie that fought for the PG-13 assessment, and lost everything in the process, if there was anything there to lose in the first place.”

The far-left Guardian is the British equivalent of NPR. I’ll wager their male staff weighs 115 pounds and wears skinny jeans and ironic t-shirts. Vince Vaughn is a ‘real’ man, replete with beer bloat and bags under his eyes, and masculinity. That explains why his movies do so well at the box office. He doesn’t bother making movies with Stephen Soderburgh and Oliver Stone, so he must be over-rated, right UK Guardian? Please. He’s a sexy everyguy that most women swoon over.
