There’s a new “officious” website that purportedly represents the soon-to-be-erected Presidential Library of George W. Bush in Texas.
Obviously, people here in South Carolina will probably view that as a good thing.
After all, most South Carolinians love Bush, and like the former president they probably have no idea what “officious” means. Or “purportedly,” for that matter.
Anyway, here’s what the site looks like …
“Welcome to the future home of the officious George W. Bush Presidential Library, the site proclaims. “This patriotic website will serve as an authoritative digital archive, dedicated to preserving and celebrating the godly legacy of the most honest, peaceful, and intelligent leader in the 6,000 year history of the planet Earth.”
Yeah … this is gonna be good …

People may admire George Bush the man, but surely everyone now realizes the failure of his administration. He tried to be a great president, but the country is still reeling from the mistakes the government made under his leadership. It will take ten years for the economy to fully recover. What a mess!
