Crooner, considering that I was raised in a military family, spent 20 years in myself and have a son on active duty....well, I guess you have the right to call names given to you by men and women that sacrificed for you to have that right....enjoy the right while you have it, since evidently you fail to value it or understand the precipice you stand on. And no Stanton, its because we fail to wage war. The military is handicapped by spineless politicians that demand a clean sanitary war where the American soldier has to prove he shot back in self defense or face mindless fools that worry about public opinion. War is all about beating your opponent into submission and if the opponents wife and children are hurt in the process...sucks to be them. That's what won WWII, not this mamby pamby bullshit we've played since then. We constantly sacrifice American lives to the alter of public opinion spewed by chicken shit countries like Norway. You want to know why the Taliban are stronger, its because they have no restrictions placed upon them. They do what it takes to win while our men and women have to worry about being second guessed by you, Nancy and her bunch of cowards. Think about it, then go talk to some vets. While there's a lot an American president can accomplish, he has three years - or seven - left before we can really take stock of what he has contributed to the course of human affairs. Selecting someone whose accomplishments are so few demeans the value of this award, and is an insult to those who earned it through a lifetime of actual service to humanity. We've tried to fight two wars without much support from our allies for the last few years. How has that worked again? Oh yeah, hundreds of thousands of American lives lost! I support and defend the ideals of this country in which we live, but what your purposing is all out war on a scale that is global. Glad you don't serve in our military. The ability to fight strategically is to have a strategy. The way of defeating in enemy with a large army are quickly going away, unless you plan on conquering entire countries again.
