Sheheen Maintains Democratic Fundraising Edge
Democratic gubernatorial front-runner Vincent Sheheen raised roughly $227,000 over the last three months to bring his fund-raising total to $733,000, sources close to the S.C. State Senator’s campaign told FITS.
Sheheen will reportedly have $627,000 on hand for the 2010 race when his campaign formally files its latest paperwork with the State Ethics Commission later this week.
That means Sheheen will have more cash at his disposal than his two major opponents – Charleston attorney Mullins McLeod ($320,000 on hand) and liberal lobbyist Dwight Drake ($230,000 on hand). In fact, he’ll have more available cash than both of them combined.
Sources tell FITS that Sheheen’s camp was also expecting a larger number from Drake – who has ties to numerous wealthy special interests.

I already told you Mullins and Dwight are putting their own $ in their own campaign pockets. They want to hop in Vincents canoe.

Sheheen’s in trouble. I like Sheheen but primary voters are flocking to Drake (unfortunately and for reasons i really don’t understand).
Sheheen is the dems only chance in a general.

Vincent Sheheen would make a great Governor even without the shadow of Sanford. The Democrats will have him at the top of the ticket which will have a ripple effect for other candidates. Lets see how he plays in Peoria.

Ha, ha.
Don’t make me laugh
That face doesn’t stand a fart’s chance in a hurricane against the nation’s first caveman/lobbyist, Dwight Drake.
I don’t care if it’s a Sheheen or Heheen, this fool isn’t fit to hack the earhair of my caveman.
One time I was standing behind Dwight Drake in the checkout line at Publix in Forest Acres. He opened up a pack of raw chicken parts and started eating them while the checkout girl totaled up the rest of his groceries.
When she noticed what he was doing, she dropped the giant leather doggie chew she was trying to pass over the laser thingy and ran away screaming. Dwight put the pet product between his teeth, grunted and finished processing his own groceries.
This is exactly the kind of money-shaking, hairy-assed, Neanderthal influence peddler our state needs to lead it into the First Century, A.D.

Sounds like Strom’s Daughter has a thing for Dwight. Let it go Sister and get in touch with your inner Cave Girl. He probably likes a woman who knows how to be rough and has a grasp of the King’s English.

Vincent Sheheen knows how to play ball. He’s the kind of kid who would stay on the bench if he was made to, but when the coach puts him in he not only scores 50 points but he passes to the kid on the team who hasn’t scored all season so he can score too. I think you’re gonna be surprised by him. And he for sure doesn’t get his energy from raw chicken parts and dog treats.
