SC Highway Patrol Issues Statement On Sanford Traffic Stop
The S.C. Department of Public Safety – which includes the State Highway Patrol – issued a statement Wednesday night regarding a controversial traffic stop involving S.C. Gov. Mark Sanford.
Sanford was a passenger in a state-owned Crown Victoria that was clocked doing 85 miles per hour in a 65 miles per hour zone along Interstate 385 on Tuesday.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 7, 2009COLUMBIA – Mark Keel, Director of the South Carolina Department of Public Safety issued the following statement Wednesday in connection with a traffic stop involving a member of the Governor’s security detail.
“I have reviewed the video recording of the traffic stop that occurred at approximately 3:30 PM, October 6, 2009 on Interstate 385,” Keel said Wednesday.
“The details are as seen on the tape: Lance Cpl. R. S. Salter of Troop 2 clocked a speeding vehicle; a dark colored Crown Victoria with tinted windows, and proceeded to make the traffic stop near the two-mile marker.
“An individual, who exited the Crown Victoria and approached Salter, indentified himself as a State Law Enforcement Division agent. When asked why he was speeding, the agent said he was transporting the Governor.
“Trooper Salter approached the Crown Victoria and found the Governor to be a passenger in the vehicle.
“Trooper Salter then returned to his vehicle without issuing the SLED agent a speeding citation.
Keel said as a result of his review of the incident, speeding charges will be filed against the SLED agent.

Sanford, of course, criticized S.C. Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer three years ago when it was revealed that law enforcement officers had stopped him twice for speeding and let him go without receiving a ticket.

Has it occurred to anyone else that Maria was the one who sent the emails to The State? Wouldn’t you get tired of someone else being Mrs. Sanford after 7 1/2 years? And that Maria is the one who tipped off the reporter that he was returning from a visit to her? There’s more than one way to skin a cat and get what you want and she decided her time had come – she specifically asked him if he was aware of the consequences and they agreed they’d pay the price – she knew the price. She was willing to do what she needed to do to bring him to a crisis that would force him to choose her. She’s not dumb – you can’t tell me that she hasn’t done all this under a guise and had a game plan in mind. And he fell for it and doesn’t have a clue she’s bringing him right back to where she wanted him – to her.
Why else would she have issued one solitary statement to the press about knowing who had ‘hacked’ her email? To throw everyone off and continue to pull Mark in.
Hey, Maria knows what she’s doing with the whole ‘want my privacy ploy’. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Reminds me of an LBJ story. Back in the late 60s, a Texas state trooper stopped a car doing about 90. When the trooper walked up, he found LBJ at the wheel. “Oh my God,” the trooper supposedly said. LBJ replied, “and don’t you forget it.” LBJ then drove off.

Just another example of someone else paying the price for sticking with Sanford. Every single person who works for him should resign and get as far away from this trainwreck as possible. If Sanford has any decency at all (which, let’s face it, he doesn’t) he should at minimum pay the ticket for the SLED agent.

What price will FITS pay, with regard to rival blogs & MSM, once they get a whiff of Mande’s article, “Swayze & Polanski: The Paralells”? An article basically stating if Americans are demanding Polanski serve prison time, Swayze’s character Johnny should be considered a child molester, too.

The United States of America has been bloodless couped by Reverend Sun Moon. This morning I am scheduled to be detained for life as an ENEMY OF THE STATE!
Nothing is further from the truth.
Last night I received information that I was going to be arrested for Cocaine. It’s worse though.
At 7:30 am I am to be detained as an Enemy …. but I am only an enemy of Reverend Sun Moon and his ” kingdom”.
Sanford is a part of the Family at C Street, which belongs to the true parent Rev Sun Myong Moon… Myong by the way means dragon… You figure it out.
At any rate, my detention is imminent. You’ll be next. You’ll follow the Shepherd if you don’t bow down too.
Operation Seizure is set. People have followed me for the past couple of months. My phones have been tapped. My neighbor MIKE and another person in the story about Sanford privatizing Social Security , Danny have been recruited to damage me.
I’ll be the first to admit that I am truly an enemy of this pseudo Kingdom that these brainwashed people are setting up inside the United States of America.
You see, the entire financial crisis originated here. All the bail out money went to Fidelity Management and Research. They own every company that got bail out dollars.

Missing is why the trooper DID NOT contact the SLED protective services vehicle by radio and ask why he was speeding without other escort or running his blue lights.
