Only in Washington, D.C. can a socialized medicine plan that costs nearly $1 trillion be described as “not raising the deficit.”
In fairness, it took the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) twenty-seven pages to pull President Barack Obama’s whimsical numbers out of their asses, but when they finally did, the plan was saving billions and “dramatically” expanding coverage.
Of course it does.
Seriously, if you believe for one second that a massive new government program is going to save taxpayer money, please allow us to present practically every other government program that’s every been implemented as evidence to the contrary.

ACORN is a joke, a total canard. Yes, it’s not the epitamy of ethics, but neither is Blackwater or KBR. But unlike those two outfits, ACORN is cut off from federal dollars. Too bad. You could have continued to flog it for another few weeks. Guess we move on to the CZARS!! The CZARS, people!!
