Actually, the IOM report says 44,000-98,000. That's a pretty wide spread (or stance). The report has also been greatly criticized on scientific grounds. Bottom line is, nobody really knows how many deaths each year can be attributed to medical misadventure, but it is likely far lower than what the IOM report claims.

Skidmarks merely got the source wrong. The Institute of Medicine says up to 98k die each year from preventable medical mistakes.

The bottom line is Repugnants don't want doctors held accountable for their actions. Doctors refuse to discipline their own.

Medmal costs have held steady at 2-3% of the healthcare "economy" for several years. The number of suits has gone down even in the face of rising numbers of malpractice events.

Perhaps Biden's "wide stance" suggests a diagnosis of NPH (normal pressure hydrocephalus)...his dementia sure fits with the diagnosis...

Pat!

Come on man (or woman or transgender individual)! That poll was taken by MSNBC (AKA ObamaTV) prior to the details and involved over 85% respondants who were Democrats. Good try my man (women or transgender individual)! You guys can keeep trying to pull the wool over our eyes with your contrived polls. That poll was as legitimate as polling the White House staff on their opinion (or using Acorn to assess public view). You are one funny guy (gal or transgender individual!)!

A more recent NBC poll (although still dated) indicates the public no longer supports the public option.

That poll is nearly four months old. In the world of public opinion, it is ancient history.

On a more important subject, why is Barry looking at Joe's junk? And why does Joe appear to be flaunting it?

No Way!
Read the following polling and see if your assertion about no support for a public option holds up.
