Good God, no wonder South Carolina is the dumbest most backwards state in the union. Look at our “leaders”, they are the most corrupt, dirty, and dumbest people on earth. Voters REALLY need to look at who they’re voting for besides the D or R besides someone’s name. How we’ve fallen. From George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, men like Robert E. Lee to crooks like Richter and the ultimate moron Tumpy Campbell. It must be all that inbreeding amongst members of these uppity all white clubs that continues to dumb down each successive generation of politicians.

In fact, if Lord makes out of the Republican primary, and it’s Lord v. Pascoe, it’ll be win-win for this State. Both are intelligent and charismatic. That would really be refreshing for this State. I don’t know about y’all, but I am sick of boob politicians and Free Times articles titled “Our Dumb State.”

I don’t mean to scoop you, FITS, but I heard that David Pascoe has filed as a Democrat in this race. He is the clear best choice. Unfortunately, he has a (D) next to his name so he’ll start out as a ten point underdog. Hopefully, our voters will look beyond party. If they do, we will have a topnotch AG.

First, Alan’s position was not terminated. He was not asked to leave. The State Grand Jury/ Prosecution sections are not funded by a grant. He decided to leave of his own accord. In fact, he left on very good terms. Second, you say he has no staff management skills. He led troops into battle… Oh, I guess that does not count? Next, you claim Alan first chaired less than 3 trials? He first chaired seven trials at the Attorney General’s Office. He first chaired twelve general sessions trials in Lexington. This is not counting his magistrate court trials.

The “biological son” comment is not only distasteful but also
nonsensical. Shame on you for whatever you were insinuating.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but get your facts, straight please. No sense in circulating unfounded and vicious lies.

You obviously have a large ax to grind, so don’t let me get in your way. Having tried cases with Alan, I know he’s both talented and hard working. I don’t carry around the guy’s resume, but you throw around that number of first chair trials like you have any knowledge of how many he’s had.

I agree with others – Alan Wilson is the best candidate – you cant marginalize people because of what their parents do (cough cough Chelsey Clinton)…
Alan has prosecuted a significant number of cases in SC while working at the AG’s office. He is a great family man and a good friend to those in need.
